This is great! Real model building--no shake & bake on this one!  I've had this kit out on the bench at least 4 times in the last couple of years but just cannot pull the trigger yet.

Noble task you have. Good luck with it I'll be watching!

"He's here, he's there, he's every flipping where, Fred The Foot, Fred The Foot!"

Nice work so far on that oldie....but it's a great challenge trying to make a silk purse from a Pigs ear, makes the build a little more interesting.

Have fun with it mate.

Cheers,

Delightful project. I've always liked flying boats no matter the time frame or nationality. I'll be following your build with great interest.

RE: Flight crew uniform colors (or, colours, if you prefer):

Here are a couple links that you probably already know about but might prove of some help:

This is a cool looking aircraft and I'm interested to see what you do with it.   I have a 1/72 Walrus but stalled out on the top wing assembly, never having done a double winger before, even though my instructions are in English.

cheers mate bi planes are fun you should give it a go :)

So you wonder whats in a 59 year old kit and i can tell you 2 sealed bags of loose bits with clear parts floating around unprotected with them , o and the normal yellowing decals and poor instructions without a word of english on them lol let the fun begin :)
