Your best build Toshi with your grandson. He may learn to cherish it as much as my first build with my father, which I still have displayed.

YesYes  That’s what modeling should be about!  If not, it’s just gluing stuff togerher.

Yes Real G. That’s exactly what modeling is.  To pass the skill, technique, and knowledge to the next generation of modelers.

Another fine build in the log book, friend Toshi. Love reading about your grandson joining you in the hobby, better get him signed up on the forum.

Mrs. Toshi is in my thoughts, I do send my best wishes to your family. Hoping for a great result when the tests come back.

Another great build Toshi every build is like a time capsule I can look at all my builds and remember something that was going on in my life during each build. Funny how are minds work like that.

Thank you Rambo!  I too see each build as a time capsule.

Best wishes to you and your wife, Toshi.  I have a 2 year old grandson that wants all my models, we fly hand toss gliders a lot.  His older sister builds airplanes with me sometimes, she's five.

Thank you sir, it’s greatly appreciated.

Grandchildren are such a Blessing to have.  But I also need to go to the gym as I’m out of breath.  Keeping up with them really tires you out!  lol!

That is very cool that your 2 year old wants all your builds but, that is fantastic that your granddaughter builds aircraft‘s with you.

Another great build, Toshi! Still a blow to my psyche that your 2 yr old grandson has better modelling skills than I do.

But seriously, to echo everyone else on this forum, my thoughts are with Mrs. Toshi, your family, and you. Stay Strong and Positive, my friend.

lol!  I was shocked that he was able to do these things.  Of course his attention span was short at best.  lol!  Thank you for your kind words of my grandson.  He had a lot of help from “Papa”!  lol!

Thank you for thinking of myself, my family, and Mrs. Toshi.

Here are a few photos of “Memphis Belle”.  I originally started the fueselage and attached the wings.  Ezra my 2 year old grandson had access to my paint booth.  I forgot to secure the gate, he came through and was absolutely amazed by the AB!  So he held it in his hand and with my hand on the AB, we both painted the “Belle”.  Mind you, there was over spray and all kinds of issues occurring.  But that’s ok, I had a blast with him and watched his little mind imprint the “How to AB the “Memphis Belle”.

A few days later, (After cleaning the overspray up) I was attaching the decals.  He came by and didn’t miss a beat and jumped in and was watching me work.  He did 2 decals and I stopped.  lol!  You can imagine the bent and ripped decals.  lol!

The main thing is to have fun and enjoy the moment.  For those of you that know excuse me, Mrs. Toshi had a brain tumor removed last year.  We were told there was another mass in her brain.  You see, I’ll always remember building this kit with him as I was within the moment.  I cherish each day I have Mrs. Toshi.  And that’s how it should be.

Ezra sure is a cute little guy!  Wow 2 years old and getting him started in modeling - that must be nothing short of a blast!

Thank you keavdog.  We have great times together, I can keep him occupied for a few minutes.  Then it’s off to a TV program called “Paw Patrol” a very popular show for children his age.

1943Mike

As others have said and I agree, it's a real pleasure to view your Works In Progress.

I hope the fundamental strings of which everything is made vibrate in such a way that life for you and Mrs. Toshi becomes even more meaningful and less harsh.

Thank you so very much for your time looking at my threads.  As well as other FSM Forum members.  Time will tell of the fundemantal strings as you mentioned, 1943Mike Thank you.
