Beautiful job. I’m loving all the recent Phantom builds. My all time favorite plane.

Nice build Bish, love Phantoms in any livery....I didn't find this thread til now.  Should have done a decal on the canopy rails- "James B" on the front and either "Q", "M", or "Moneypenny" on the rear one.

She's a beauty,  I won that same kit in a raffle at our last show!  It's a great looking kit

As usual, when I realised this is a build by Bish in 1/72nd, amazement set it. I'll never know how you do it.

Great job, and I can't believe how much the base and tug add. A lot!

Like Mr Steck, I wish I'd have found this thread earlier.

YesNice Phantom!  I can't imagine the stencils in 1/72.  1/48 are smaller than a grain of rice!

Bish

PJ, so i am guessing that Phantom modles are just naturally nose heavy. I always secure my models to every base, with aircraft i will drill a hole through at least one wheel and insert a piece of wire and then pin that into the base. I think even if you went for the folded nose option it would still be ok as you would have the addd weight of the radar.

And thank you, coming from you with your Phantom line up, that means a lot.

Hopefully i won't have to wait to long, and i will be looking forward to seeing what you can do with it.

Quite welcome Bish. Sorry for the late response but the missus and I were traveling thru the Panama Canal. Man what a work of science that is, just amazing!

I too don’t weigh down my F4s since they balance out nicely. I hope to build my two Hasegawas soon.

Thanks GH, and thats a nice idea. But how about M on the front and JB on the back, as that would be my initials as well.

Thanks Greg, glad you found it and as i always say, 72nd is what i am used to, its working in the larger scales that feels odd.

Thanks Keyda, its was the number of stencils that bothered me. Us Brits do like to put labels on everything.

Thanks PJ, and wow, that sounds like one hell of a trip. I can only imagine, an amazing feet of engineering.

It will be nice to see you add a Phantom to the collection we have had recently.
