I had to add thin styrene strips and clear epoxy to help with the fit.

Thanks!the funny thing is ...whenI built the P61 I had very little problem with canopy fit!

Is that a hint of sarcasm. I left my P61 canopies open because I couldn't get them to fit right.

Looking good, Philo! That nose turned out really good. I know the effort you put into it. If I remember correctly, the "gun nose cone" was way too small....and the gun bay doors being "wonky". Can't wait to see it finished.

Personally and to be honest, I always like Revellogram and other crappy models, I feel like I accomplished something when they are done and look pretty good. Might be just me tho, lol!

I was thinking if the seams weren't so bad and the canopy fit I might well be just about done by now!

I am amazed at how quickly you are able to move forward on this model. How much time in a day do you work on it?

Your comments and questions are always welcome.

The od I will use is darker but I wanted to see how well I did on the seams

.I am pleased with the results but the canopy is a disappointment.

Wow that’s alot of putty! I love the bondo spot putty myself. You can really feather it out on flat surfaces. Excellent looking build so far!

In the pattern: Scale Shipyard's 1/48 Balao Class Sub! leaning out the list...NOT! Ha, added to it again - Viper MkVii, 1/32 THUD & F-15J plus a weekend madness build!

Canopy parts fit is poor .Iwill glue in clear acetate panels to salvage the situation.

I saw this thread last week and was going to give you a heads up about the gun bay doors. I always wondered if they fir that bad 50 years ago with brand new molds. It took me a long time to get them to look "ok".

I built this last year for Stik's Mafia GB. It's the "good" side....good luck! " target="">
