you could try mask insignia on this as a learning process rather than the decals

 

My items would be from Hong Kong or mainland China.  I have had my item once from UK.  Everything came to me in perfect condition.  I only exclusively utilized EBay.

As for the decal sheet, the decals are stuck on the paper and will not come off.  So I will look for masks for the “George”.  Thank you for the guidence.

Plenty to get your hands on, plenty to do and get you thinking about what to improve and how to do it.

I think you would love HK's Lancaster and I am sorry I could not secure one for you! My Dambuster kit is currently stuck in UK Customs, affectionately known as "Robbing B*****ds".

Trying to get stuff through them without getting stuck with import fees, taxes etc is a national pastime and hobby. Big boxes with low money declared is usually where things fall over! Sometimes they get through, sometimes not!

My Mk I Lancaster vanished in the postal system for about two weeks before turning up at UK Customs. They took 4 days to decide before slapping a charge on it which you have to pay the post office and they put a handling charge on the money too before delivery.

I took a very careful look at the package on delivery and it had been opened, the kit had been looked through and then all put back together carefully!

If I didn't know any better I suspect that there is a model builder working in UK Customs! If I hadn't been tracking and following the package and screaming into Parcelforce and Customs ears I suspect that it would have disappeared!

Anyway.... You will have finished this by Saturday! What's Next?

I’ve finally got the fueselauge ready.  Ezra is very very excited.

We finally assembled most of the plane yet, there’s still smaller work that needs to be done.  Thank you all for supporting Ezra and I! 

I’ve noticed that Ezra’s hands have difficulty in building this kit as everything is so small 1/72.

Even I cannot glue things together, with great difficulty as well.  So I’ll be taking over most of the build.  Ezra will have to be observing only.
