Mopar Madness

Thanks Greg!  Stukas in the Mediterranean theater of war were often oversorayed with RLM 79 sand yellow to camouflage their units.

You're welcome.

And I didn't know that, now that I know what I'm looking for, I see the splinter pattern in between the RLM 79. That's actually very neat, and thanks for the info.

Very nice work, Chad. The colors look splendid and the weathering is fantastic. Very nice work indeed.

That's a knockout Stuka, Chad. Yes

I too wish I'd have found this sooner.

I'm a little turned around......what happened to the splinter pattern?

Wow, backdrop makes a huge difference!  Shows a lot about the camera I suppose.  Looking really good.

Thanks,

Thank you both for your kind words. However, I feel like I need to repost another image showing the post shade work against a green backdrop so it doesn’t wash out the colors. Since the primary colors of the aircraft are green, I feel like the blue backdrop completely washed out the tones! Tongue Tied  So here’s another picture against a green backdrop which more clearly defines the post shading.
