Give that Covid crap hell Toshi, you are winning pal!
Too many models to build, not enough time in a lifetime!!
Reside in Streetsboro, Ohio
Hell of a cough. Doing much better, felt like a bout with the flu. But moving forward! Fell on my ribs and head. I'm good. I am very hardheaded so says Mrs. Toshi. Lol! Starting work, here is what I have. Ezra is studying ABC Mouse. Fast learner.
Damn, Toshi! Never stops does it?
You keep fighting this and checking in to tell us all how you are doing.
Tosh Here I am back in ER. I'm just glad Mrs. Toshi and Ezra did not catch what I have! I became Covid19. I will check in every now and then. Toshi

get lots of rest and deep breathing exercise, my friend! Keep your head up! I want to see more builds from you and that little fella of yours!

GMorrison Hi Toshi, That model was a Revell "box scale" kit from way back in 1954. It's about 1/92. I think the best part of it is that great globe display stand. Atlantis is a new company that's re-popping old kits, including some really old ones from Aurora as well. Have fun! Bill

I agree with Bill, this was one of the old Revell box scale kits. They used that clear globe base, not Monogram.
It's good to see Ezra enjoying the build-and to see you enjoying it, too, naturally
That's a very popular kit right now, too, if all of the posts I see online about it are true. A lot of guys of our vintage (in their 50s and 60s) look back on building that when Revell issued it. So it's good to see you guys having fun!

Welcome back to the workbench, Toshi and Ezra. As you can see from my build the two 1/24 Hellcats are fighting back like mad but I am wining slowly!
Glad to see Mrs. Toshi joining in and it is always nice when your other half takes an interest.
Stay safe and well all of you over there.
James
Yay! Toshi and Ezra are back! Glad to hear you, Mrs. Toshi, and Ezra are doing well.
Buddy- Those who say there are no stupid questions have never worked in customer service.
Greg Tosh It was actually Ezra’s idea, he calls Mrs. Toshi Tu’Tu. It means grandma in Hawaiian. Mrs Toshi's gotta love that. Ours is Po po, one many ways to say grandma in Chinese.

mawright20Good To see you back at the helm Toshi!

Here's some of Mrs. Toshi's handi work whom helped me with the wings. Ezra asked for a Marvel Comics LEGO set. I had issues with it and my son had to redo the whole assembly. Lol! I still preferred a good ole fashioned model kit!

goldhammer Many hands make light work...glad to hear Mrs T keeping both of you safe and out of trouble. Shelf of doom is going to be empty soon enough now.

Here’s Ezra with the Tamiya cutters and cutting off one of the 4 cowlings without my help. He’s really taking leaps and bounds.

Yeah, it's good to see you guys back at work!!!
That's one thing I like about modeling: When I squatting on the floor cursing and screaming about the part that flew off and went missing I forget about all my other problems.
[/quotetThat is so true. Working on that cheap little bomber made it feel like a million dollars.

Greg Atta boy!!! To all 3 of you! And yes, by that, I also mean Mrs. Toshi! A five-handed build from Toshi and family. What a treat!

Building a kit from your stash is like cutting a head off a Hydra, two more take it's place.

Believe it, talk about an all out family build. Mrs. Toshi and Ezra under my ever watchful eye and direction has gotten this far! Only bedtime for Ezra has led this evenings build to conclusion. Be safe, stay healthy, Toshi's

I finally found where this thread was and blew the dust off the Tamiya liquid cement bottle. I asked Ezra if he’s interested in helping papa in starting back up the kit, he told me later. He is really interested in hand held games.
At least he told me he’ll make models with me later this evening as he knows the trouble with my arm so bare with me.
Nice! I was checking that out at Hobby Lobby the other day as well. I look forward to your progress.

Glad to see you back and to hear Mrs Toshi is working on getting better. It's nice to get back to some sort of normality in life.
