Greg, they were suprisingly tough little buggers. They were powered by the same engines that powered the Storch. They beat out the BV-141 for an observation platform and were used later as a night fighter.

That's new to me, what an unusual aircraft.

I found the pics on the ground with the crew particularly interesting becuase on it's own, it looks like a pretty fair sized twin, but it's not. It's surprisingly compact.

Reminds of the the first 1/48 FW-190 I open the box of. I was certain that Eduard had put the sprues of a 1/72nd 190 in by mistake. Didn't realize how small the little fellers were.
