Replaced the molded pitot tube with thin metal tubing.
Attached the landing lights and 250 pounders
The canopy deck got some scratchbuilding thingies to busy things up and needs to be painted.
All decals are finally on. Just a few more steps and she will be completed.
Too many models to build, not enough time in a lifetime!!
Nice touch and very shiny finish you got going there.
Nick.
Thanks Crown. She is almost done.
My F84 is completed. A short recap, used Eduard pit detail set, added pe pilot mirror, replaced plastic pitot tube with metal tubing, replaced dive brake with older stile one made from wine foil, added fuse wires to both bombs, added scratched bits to canopy deck for added details, several Alclad colors used for subtle contrasting panel shades.
Great Job PJ! Looks real sharp. Nice NMF!

Thanks cb!
Such a great looking 84 PJ.
My stepfather, who has since passed, was almost killed by a crashing 84. He was in the RADAR shack when the plane lost it's gear on landing. He saw it comming and took off running. The plane hit the shack square on.

Building a kit from your stash is like cutting a head off a Hydra, two more take it's place.

"Can you fly this plane and land it?...Surely you can't be serious....I am serious, and don't call me Shirley"
Thanks Teacher and LD!
An absolute beauty all way 'round!
That riot of multi-colored checkerboard just screams '50s.
Truly superb effort.

Thank you. I love the colorful 50's schemes. The F100's had some wild colors too.
