I like assembly tabs when building vac firm kits so I made them out of .20 styrene.    image bb

Since the Promodeler version came out ,it made this kit obsolete!

I think vac kit companies like Execuform had the correct approach, making featureless parts for the builder to embellish.  So many makers had soft, irregular "detail" molded in, like control surfaces that don't line up, misshaped lumps and bumps, et.

In particular, I recall a model magazine article, probably from the late 1970s/early 1980s where a guy built a Combat Models 1/32 He-219.  He noted the wide, soft, irregular control surfaces delineations that needed to be painstakingly filled in and rescribed.

But that was last century.  For your 1/48 Me-410, there are a lot of aftermarket accessories like props, exhausts, wheels, cocpkit details, and decals.  It's so much better modeling in the 21st century.

Yes I have been warned of the short comings of Combat Models kits   ,expectations are modest but it should be interesting.

Combat:  It's not just a brand name, it's a warning!

Well to put things in perspective, back when the kit was made, that is all we had. Good luck on your build!  Remember to study the instructuons, take your time, and go easy on the alcohol!  Stick out tongue

I picked up this Combat Models vac form kit in the Bay for four dollars a few years ago so I decided to give it a try.
