Thanks, guys- all those

Thanks for the fresh installment and the reverence for our fallen, Chukw! I could do no more, pal... I, for one know what a 'penny dreadful' is! (Thanks to Firesign Theatre of all sources!) Now Rub 'n' Buff! That's a product I haven't heard about in maybe 30 years! Didn't realize it was still produced! It used to be all over the modeling mags years ago. Now we never hear of it. It's an old staple, isn't it? Sometimes the Old School is the Best School! Simply another wonderful (I like that superlative!) presentation!!! They never get cloying or too familiar......always something new and informative. Personally, I also love the way the do/don't do advice is given! As though we are all building right along with you! That means a lot to me- I never want to sound pedantic or doofus-y. Much appreciated! Fab work on that motor!.....and thanks for saving Abe! Time now to go back, re-read and feast my eyes! |

I'm amazed how you've managed to turn every single sub-assembly into it's own kit...really just amazing. That engine is nuts! |

Super job as usual! Looks like Abe was emotionally scarred from his encounter with the beast. he's a little angry I think. Keep up the incredible work! |

Oh, Abe has issues, that's for sure. I mean, think of being a penny, for cying out loud- Susan b Anthony made it to dollar!

I dont know how you do it fella. I find it pain enough just to upload my photos to Photo bucket and write a little bit of piffle that might be interesting to anyone. You do all that in bucketloads. Not forgetting The trials and tribulations of Chuck and Abe, drawn Fantastically. Keep going, you on the homeish straight lol. ...Guy |
|
Thanks, Guy! Keep that piffle coing- we all love it! I just do what I do... but I have my own website with unlimited bandwidth so the whole photo upload thing isn't all that big a piff. After the engine's done, I don't think there'll be anything to keep me from glueing on the wings, but I'll have to paint to wells, first...

You can find Rub'n'Buff at any of your local craft stores and paint shops. |

Just look for the guy trying not to look like a crafter who's scoping out new modeling tools and supplies- he'll find it sooner or later! ;D

Now.....let's stand by for more Chukw kudos! |

Now that's piffle!

Thanks, mucker- I stand humbled.
mshaneyfelt :If I have helped then it's all worthwhile! Our hobby gives endless amusement, satisfaction, enlightenment- and a chance for personal growth. I get a lot out of it- and the ham-bone that I am wants to put it all up on stage. Don't worry about the 'Diver getting done- it's bound to happen- but like I said, I've got an imposing stash of future projects. Cheers, my friend!
subfixer: Thanks god for stream-of-consciousness or I'd have no material at all!
