I love the artwork.....both 2D and 3D.....very nice work indeed....and very entertaining.
Does the angry little man with the beard have a name?  He's pretty cool.

Oops....just re-read your last post....he's Lil' Chuk.....does he happen to look anything like you?

Cheers, LeeTree

This is more captivating than any soap opera SWMBO has ever forced me to watch.

I can't wait for each instalment. Chuck, you really need to turn this into a comic strip.

If only....

Tell abe there is a reason they call it the BeastWink [;)].  Fantastic as usual.  That cockpit detail is crazy good.  I say go for the tricolor pacific scheme, but that's just my My 2 cents [2c].  Oh, and when will the Mk II eyeball come out? Will you not need bifocals for that one? Laugh [(-D] Just kidding

I figured as much. I've got a beard, too, First grew it out in 1975 when you could have a beard in the Navy. I've "mowed" it twice since then and each time my wife has made me grow it back immediately. It seems that it covers up my ugly mug.

The only thing I can say to this is.... I WANT MY MOMMY!

Sireiously, this is absolutly beutiful. I have a long way to go and a short time to get there. Can't wait to see what happens to Lil' Chuck and GP Abe!

Some people spend their whole lives wondering if they made a difference. Gundams don't have that problem.

Really fine job. Your illustrations are giving me flash backs to our preventive maintainence magazines. There were characters drawn in similar style as yours making comments about cleaning guns extc. I remember one named Connie. Used to be drawn really sexy until more women came into combat support roles. Very nostalgic for me and great job on the model and comics!

Thanks, my friends- thanks so much!

It's been a busy weekend!  Here in the states we've just had our Memorial Day weekend (really the 30th), in which we celebrate the beginning of summer- and solemnly remember the sacrifices of those who have served our nation.

But, returning to our series, Li' Chuk has rescued Giant Penny Abe from th clutches of the Helldiver with a tantalyzing offer: read on! If you dare!!!

Thanks for the fresh installment and the reverence for our fallen, Chukw!

I, for one know what a 'penny dreadful' is! (Thanks to Firesign Theatre of all sources!) Now Rub 'n' Buff! That's a product I haven't heard about in maybe 30 years! Didn't realize it was still produced! It used to be all over the modeling mags years ago. Now we never hear of it.

Simply another wonderful (I like that superlative!) presentation!!! They never get cloying or too familiar......always something new and informative. Personally, I also love the way the do/don't do advice is given! As though we are all building right along with you!Laugh [(-D]

Fab work on that motor!.....and thanks for saving Abe!

Time now to go back, re-read and feast my eyes!Dinner [dinner]

I dont know how you do it fella. I find it pain enough just to upload my photos to Photo bucket and write a little bit of piffle that might be interesting to anyone. You do all that in bucketloads. Not forgetting The trials and tribulations of Chuck and Abe, drawn Fantastically.

Keep going, you on the homeish straight lol.

Chukw

Thanks for posting this build. I have been following from the beginning and have downloaded every picture but this is my first time posting. I really appreciate the fact that you post every step of the build no matter how minute the detail. This has really helped me in my modeling. It has inspired me to tackle problems that I thought were beyond my skill level and has caused the quality of my models to increase. It seems that most books/articles on super detailing skip over all of the small stuff you have to take care of in order to create a great model. Not so with your post and I really appreciate it.

Whenever I view this post, however, it is with a since of ambivalence. On one hand I love seeing your new work but on the other hand it means that you are closer to finishing which means not more posts :).

Keep up the good work and PLEASE post future builds!

Thanks, Guy!  Keep that piffle coing- we all love it!  I just do what I do... but I have my own website with unlimited bandwidth so the whole photo upload thing isn't all that big a piff.  After the engine's done, I don't think there'll be anything to keep me from glueing on the wings, but I'll have to paint to wells, first... Thanks, mucker- I stand humbled.
mshaneyfelt :If I have helped then it's all worthwhile!  Our hobby gives endless amusement, satisfaction, enlightenment- and a chance for personal growth.  I get a lot out of it- and the ham-bone that I am wants to put it all up on stage.  Don't worry about the 'Diver getting done- it's bound to happen- but like I said, I've got an imposing stash of future projects.  Cheers, my friend!
