I'm deeply gratified that this old post came back to life for a bit- 8 years already? My thanks to all who posted back in 2009! Sadly, the Military Shop is no more and we've left LA for the Great Pacific Northwest- thew Helldiver is packed away in a box awiting a new display case that is, frankly low on our priority list. My current build is a build review for Tamiya Magazine- my first! In the meantime, my on-hod MiG21 LanceR is temporarily laguishing here: http://cs.finescale.com/fsm/modeling_subjects/f/2/t/166053.aspx

Thanks, Johnny100 and Pawel- and everyone else- cheers!

HAHAHAAAAAAA!!!!  The Helldiver!  That's how we met, Flyboy!  Love it!
Can't wait to see the MIG done.  The work you've showed me so far has been fantastic. And the work you're doing on that Luftwaffe noisemaker is astounding.
Thanks, mate....for sharing.

Cheers, LeeTree

Wowsers! 8 years!

I remember avidly following this build thread from my work desk each lunchtime. I'd always be checking and awaiting the next update.

The Military Shop... I used to stop in there weekly.... a good chunk of my stash has their price tags... man do I miss that place.

Thanks for bumping this up...

Oh yeah...what an inspirational build. Glad to see your doing well. I hope to see more of your work in here as I've always been a big fan of it.

It definitely was a fun build to follow, and I'm looking forward to more.
