Great looking builds everyone. I only hope my first build comes out half as good.

Question........

Are you sure that's not one of those 6 inch joke pennies? Smile [:)]

I'm afraid this is all from me for this year. Hopefully next year will find me a little more productive at the workbench....

WOW   More incredable stuff here.  Nice job all.  And Charles that is by far the best build in the whole Mega high fives to the tenth pwoer buddy.

But what does the wife say when she comes home and see that "build" on the shelf?

She's just happy that he has his mommy's good looks and hopes he has her brains, too. I can't argue either point.

Well here are my completed builds for 2007 (I have a couple of additional builds that I won't consider 2007 builds since I have not yet built the display base for them).

Pro-Modeler Ju-88A4 1:48

Pro-Modeler Do-217E5 1:48

Pro-Modeler P-38E 1:48

Monogram SA-16 1:72

Sure seems like I built more since I feel like I was nearly always building throughout the year.  Maybe it's those two F-14s that I did that need to be completed with display stands.

And for 2008 I already have lined up 5 different P-40s, a Hurricane, a P-61, a P2V7 Neptune, and whatever my Secret Santa sent.

I build on the slow side. In my defence I'm currently building a 1/24 spitfire, 1/32 fw190A-8 and a 1/72 hellcat. The larger 2 are moving along slowly the the small hellcat is almost done.

From newest to oldest.

Testors 1/48 U2-C spy plane.

1/48 dragon Ta152H-1

1/48 monogram promodeler fw190D-11

1/72 hobby boss fw190D-9

1/48 academy bf109G-6 I built most of it last year but actually finished it early this year.

Sleep?  Oh yeah, I think I have a vague idea of what that is...  Yeah I got a little carried away this year.  Biz is slow so there will be a moratorium on kit purchases in '08.  Just gonna pull from the stash.

Great looking stuff posted too, by a great bunch of folks.  That's why FSM is my fav forum.  Most I remember but a few I don't recall.

And a ? for Matt...Was the truck you built last year? I am losing track of time.  Doesn't seem that long ago.

Come on.... nubes and old timers (as in regulars... no age discrimination intendedWink [;)])  let’s see your stuff.

2007 in review at Swanny's Models.
First I was able to produce and release the second video in the model building skills series.

And then there were the models:
Planet Models 1/48 resin P-40Q

Hasegawa 1/48 P-51D

Hasegawa 1/48 Bf-109 E4

Dragon 1/48 Ju-88 A-6 backdated to an A-4

21st Century 1/32 Macchi C.202

Trumpeter 1/35 Mil Mi-8MT with scratch built interior

Amodel 1/72 Shavrov Sh-2 with scratch built interior and engine details

AMT 1/25 Ford Louisville

And one I don't have a picture available of, Lindberg 1/25 1963 Mustang 2 prototype.
Overall it's been a good modeling year although I am just a little off my normal pace of one per month. Now looking forward to 2008!
