Could it be condensation "induced" drops that gather inside the plane and then leak down?

It's not water and I don't think oil condensates. When I picked it up a few minutes ago the liquid was on the inside (not internal, but underneath) of the starboard engine nacelle (near the tailhook). There were a few spots in other places but were all in that general area. And as if I wasn't confused already, the drops are just that. Not runs, not wet areas, they are drops of liquid that appear to be coming through the styrene -Like this thing is sweating! (That ought to be good for a few more jokes). I drilled a small hole just before the exaust nozzle and tilted the model. I'll check it tomorrow and see if the hemorrhaging persists.

-and before anyone asks- No. It did not scream when I drilled the hole.

Sounds like a realistic F14 you got there. I under stand all F14's leak. You wonder how they can fly.

It might be mold release agent from the plastic on the inside f the model that has found it's way to a low spot. But I still think it's HauntedWink [;)]

That's what it is... The testors filler does have that watery stuff... had to leak half a tube of that stuff onto a paper towl just to get to the stuff that will fill the gap.Confused [%-)]

Even if it was the Testors goo -which I know I squeezed out before I applied the putty- why did it show up years afterwards? An why does it appear to be coming through the styrene and paint?

I checked today and nothing came out of the hole I drilled last night.

Maybe the ground crew fixed it.
