Ken, I'm glad to hear you're finally going to have time to get back to the workbench! I've missed seeing the work you do!
AS for myself, I was at a friends house yesterday helping him install some windows when my sister called. It seems they are in the process of packing up my nephew's belongings and getting him out of Mom's house. I may not have to perform the actual eviction after all! I will finally be able to move ahead on the estate!
Do I feel happy? No. I feel sick that I had to do this. It's almost like having to put down a family pet that has become ill. You don't want to do it, but it has to be done. (It's not the exactly the same, but it's as close as I can get to describing the feeling).
After I left my friends house I wandered around for a while as I didn't want to sit at home. Even stopped off at a certain little club I used to frequent a lot, that involves brass poles and dollar bills-you know your in a dark mood when you can't even get interested in something like that!
Gave up on that and headed home. Sat down at the work bench....and did nothing!
I hope my family figures out someday just how hard this is, and I'm not just being an a-hole!
Today I'm trying to get started on the yard and the leaves. With work and everything else going on, I have put it off for weeks now and they are knee deep in places! I'm lucky so far that the weather has been good! It's 73 degrees right now!
