US WWII armor interiors were painted a white color. I do not know of any primer used. (May be at the factory only?) To my knowledge and from reading Belton Cooper's Death Traps, they just lathered on the OD paint.

I  was wonder what the interior of the M10 Wolverine was painted? All the photos I have seen that show the interior to look dark. And what primer was used on US armor during this period?

Ok thanks mg will get ball rolling and order my kit. Also do you have any websites for the equipment on the lend lease act for reference. thanks

Try these if you want some Lend-Lease references, but it depends on what you're looking for, so they may either be very helpful or not helpful at all.

If we're including reverse lend lease as well as the mossies the USAAF/USAF operated the Beaufighter, Tiger Moth, Oxford, Dragon rapide and Defiant as well as the aforementioned Spitfire.

Hope this helps.

I looked into it and there was alot of conflicting, confusing data, but their was some sites that said that the M-16 was part of lend-lease. So my decision is yes, you can build that M-16 Halftrack for this GB.Cool [8D]

I can let that slide by, but if you want to build that M3 Grant for this GB then you can't do any more construction, at all.

Well, I don't want people to start early. I might let an exception by, but it depends on how much you already did.

Well I have the pit done, and I signed up for another GB with the same kit on another site. So if that does not work I will understand.

Sorry, no crossover builds. That was a rule of this GB. So I'll have to disqualify your current build. But you're still welcome to build something else, so let me know if you still want in, on this GB.

OK I did not realize what a "crossover build" was, now I know, so please take me off your list.

Remeber you're still welcome to join in with something else.Smile [:)]

I think that I might be able to join this one.  In that timeframe I think I can squeeze in a 1/48 Revellogram P-40B.

If we can start now (because Im REALLY ANXIOUS) Ill sign up doing a Academy M3 Grant.

(just a Q, since the grant was a british mod on the american design, can it be anything british (british canadian etc) or does just non american)

Sorry, you gotta wait untill January 1st. However, do you still want to be signed up for this GB?

I think I understood your question, so yes, if it's a british/canadian modification on a Lend-Lease vehicle, then it would be more then likely acceptable for this GB.
