yah im gonna go with physically 229

mentally 2.29

About the size of it, I think our dear Field Marshall has waaaaaaaaaayyyyyyy too much free time on his hands.

Gee Manny, go put a fresh coat of wax on your Tiger tank or something...

I almost typed 'go wax your Tiger' but I don't want to know what type of perverted meaning he'd get out of that... Indifferent

a "feeler" is when you stick an idea out there and see how many people are interested in the idea.  Its only dirty if you make it so. Boys will be boys, I guess.....

Just can't take these guys anywhere! Embarrassed

Thanx Owl - had a feeling it would be an obvious definition, which is fine. I'm leaning towards an F-111 Aardvark, hoping that someone will want to do a Not Too Successful GB and I can get double points.Seriously, I want to do a little more research before signing on in case there's an animal with more appeal - but I've gotta earn that badge - Very Cool!

mrmike

A question for you Owl, really just for clarification...I'm assuming that you mean the name of the plane itself or a common nickname qualifies, but maybe not a mission designation like Wild Weasel? Just asking 'cause I want to participate, so I'm thinking over what kit(s) might work for your idea of an Odd Animals GB.

Thanx!

mike

yeah, its just the name of the Aircraft that qualifies. A common nickname will work too. The A-10 is officially the "Thunderbolt II", but everyone knows it as the "Warthog"

Alright everybody, Ive posted the official GB thread in the Group Builds sub-forum. Please head over and post to verify your participation and kits. If there is ??? next to your name, that means I am missing some info. If you could supply that bit of information that would be super!

....Im gonna have to say no. A motorcycle is a land vehicle and yours is named after a land animal (Steed). If it was officially called Pegasus or named after a non-land animal I would allow it.

Thx, Guys.

i do know what a warthog looks like as I hunted those.

Still waiting for an answer if a  Steed Kit would apply for this GB or not.
