If someone besides revell makes a P-40 from Pearl Harbor, I'll build it, just not a fan of the revell one.

In 1/48 for a P-40B there is the old Monogram kit currently isued by Revell, the newer Hobbycraft kit currently out under the Academy label, and a Trumpeter kit. The Monogrm kit actually captures the lines of the nose best, but the other two have newer style tooling with recessed exterior detail and better wheel wells and cockpits.

So can anyone help me out? Im helping roof our house this weekend and dont have a lot of time for searching. I know Enterprise had some SBD's in the air during the attack, but where does the SB2U come in?

SB2Us were part of the Marine Air Wing based at Ewa Field. Along with the SBD-1s they were wiped out on the ground.

I wish my modeling skills were a lot more advanced, it'd be cool to make a dio from that pic.
