Has anything happened with the BF-110?
The bf 110 has to remain in the stach for the time beeing, sorry.Maybve I 'll get to it on the Airfix GB MK2 LOL!
I hav been after one of these Pumas for a long time now!
You'll love that Puma, Theuns; great kit....I built two of them way back when. Really loved the fact that the side cargo door was 'operational.' Bsyamato, that is one killer Scout chopper.....you are crazy insane with the engine detail! looking forward to seeing it all finished up.
I'm still an Airfix GB virgin. Every time I walk by that Stuka box, I can hear it calling my name......
Hope to check in again soon, maybe with a picture or two of my own!!
2022 New Year's Resolution: Enter 1 group build and COMPLETE a build this year!! Why Photobucket did you rob me of my one Group Build Badge??? Must be part of the strong anti-Monogram cartel!!!

I also just got a 1/48 Fujimi Westland Wasp helo, as I understand it might well be a rebox of the Airfix kit, anyone know about this?
From what i can find, Airfix never did a 48 scale wasp.
However if you can find airfix printed on the plastic or the documentation (or anyone can provide proof its airfix) ill allow it.
It was just for interest sake. I read it in an online review somewhere. :-)
I'm going to have to post-pone the BV 141. I need to start work on my airfix Zero for the Japanese GB.
Not gonna enter it here? We take crossovers you know.
I guess I could do that, you'll have to replace the AR-196 with the A6M2 Zero though.
Uh. I thought that I have time to finnish this in summer vacation. Well vacation ended last week and nothing was done, but now I´m in sick leave so let´s see what happens.
A4D-1 Skyhawk. This I did few months ago, but forgot to add pictures.
Engine kind of thingie to fill empty space and start for cockpit.
Wheel wells modified with plastic strips. Today I added some hydraulic tubes and cabel lines.
Also I started to remake the landing gears.
Hopefully more tomorrow...

Here is my 1/72 Airfix Puma in the making. It will be in earlt SAAF sceeme.I had to add yaw peddals and new controll collombs as the old ones met end somewhere in the post.

I'm just taking it one GB at a time.
You guys are doing awesome. Cant wait to see more BSYamato.
My puma is comming allong.
I had to modify the sponsons as the SAAF used different ones on later pumas.Flat sheet and a bit of filler with lots of sanding LOL! Amazingly the fit of the sponson to the fuse is very good (what went wrong airfix ? LOL!!!)
Good looking progress on the helicopters.
Despite lots of troubles at home ,at work and again withouth vacancy, and more the tropicat hotness of these days , i'm near the end of endless scout
Also break the engine in two this afternoon during the first attempt to put it in right place, tamiya glue saved him and this night almost all pieces at their place
Nice progress on the puma Theuns
That's a nice little whirlybird, bsyamato.
Thanx Check
Someone on another forum warned me about the incorrect transparent green color i use during my references gathering ,out of all the real scouts images, i see one or two scouts kits with transparent upper canopy.. then my brai completely ignored the real image that shows everywhere the scouts with BLUE transparent upper canopy
So i removed the green and put on the correct color
Also replaced the tail runner that i break during the refine step
Next steps i hope will be last before final pictures
Don't worry bsyamato, your hard work is showing good results
