Hey guys I just sumbled on this GB and I'm just starting a Revell A-10 with a legend resin cockpit. You guys mind if I join in on the fun?
Well guys I've enjoyed building the Superbug and this GB has been fun but its time for me to call this one done!
I didn't take pics of the last few steps like weathering and attaching all the stuff. I just spaced out and forgot. Sorry.

Fly-n-hi- that is smoking hot! Very well done.
Beautiful work!
Thanks guys!
Sick looking Hornet my friend! great work!
Tates, i will add you to the roster momentarily, happy building!

Despite a hectic last month, I've finally gotten the wings attached to this Frogfoot. It's starting to look like a model aircraft...
I spent a looong time working on that fusleage seam- it isn't perfect but I've got one more idea to go before I call that issue settled. I haven't begun to address the wing seams as I just put them on late last night. Still lots of flaps and leading edges to attach after painting and lets not mention all of the breakable stuff.
Once I everything is good and cured, I'm thinking of using a small cloth motorized buffing wheel to polish all around the body and wings on various panels and places for effect...
Fly, man, that Hornet is loaded to the max, ready to deliver the goods. Sweet build!
Dre, the Frogfoot is progressing nicely. Been enjoying watching this one come together!
Have made very little progress on the 'vick unfortunately. Too many home reno projects going on at the moment. May have to clean away a few cobwebs from the bench before I get back at it. Still, with the timeline of this GB, I'm more than confident that I'll get 'er done before the end date.

"We have our own ammunition. It's filled with paint. When we fire it, it makes pretty pictures....scares the hell outta people."
Great looking Hornet Fly-n-hi!!!! I love the paint and weathering. Exellent job!!
Casper- Very nice A-7! I've been wanting to get one of the HobbyBoss A-7's. Awesome job.
Dre- That Frogfoot is coming along nicely. Can't wait to see more.
Oh and as far as football goes, you'll all be left in the ruble from the Houston Texans. And Bristol isn't nearly as good as it used to be I think. Wish they had left the pavement alone.

Well I've been very busy with work and life as of late so I haven't gotten much done. And on top of that I had a hard time trying to find some RLM 02. I didn't want to order online just a couple of bottles of paint. Got some yesturday at my LHS so I should get really moving on it tomorrow. Here's where I'm at now.
Medicman71, nice progress.
The Tamiya F-16 instructions are killing me... I don't know how you got that Heinkel where it is by using them, but don't quit now!
Dre, the Frogfoot is starting to look like an airplane now! Medic, nice to see you back at it! I was wondering how it was coming along.
What an excellent Hornet. Thanks for sharing it Fly-n-hi.
That front on photo of the Frogfoot is an interesting perspective, and made me realise that I know very little about this aircraft. I'll look for an opportunity to build one, by the end of which I will know a lot more.
Cheers
Tony
I'm just taking it one GB at a time.

professordeath I just took delivery of the Hobby Boss 1/48 A-10 and would love to jump on to this GB if I could. I would also be sharing it in the Desert Storm GB if that's ok. There is some great work happening here and would love to join. Thanks.

Hey guys, construction update on my A-10.
Got her into almost one piece . When it's done it'll sport the top camo pattern.
This is the legend resin cockpit. Even though this is only the second model I've built in 20 years I think I did okay with the paint
Also I recently took a trip to the big city and picked up 7 new kits including this gem.
Yeah it is the revell kit, not a bad kit. I'm planning on doing "peanut". Had to special order some humbrol paints to make those colours, what a headache!
Great looking cockpit, Tates. it is amazing what a resin can do to spiff up a kit.
Skyraider.... nice.
Great looking cockpit Tates, really like it. I haven't seen a built model of 'Peanut'. I'll look forward to it.
Ok, just finished a big F-16 1/32 kit, now it's time for something a bit smaller. My entry for this GB for now is a 1/72 Hasegawa OA-37B. This kit has less parts than the engine assembly for the F-16 and is smaller! Anyway, it should be a fun little build.
On the bench: A-4F 1/32 Hasegawa
Just deployed: F6F-5N Hellcat Nightfighter 1/48 Eduard
Up next: A6-E Intruder 1/48 Revell
That should be a fun kit to do... I want one in 1/32..
I gotta say though, one can get spoiled with those big expensive Tammy's in 1/32. They are beautifully rendered and engineered so when you get to a 10 buck Hasegawa job it's 'flash' city!
Casper, I have to ask...are you retired or something? How do you have the time to build so much? It seems like you've got a new build every 2 or 3 weeks.
Fly-n-hi Casper, I have to ask...are you retired or something? How do you have the time to build so much? It seems like you've got a new build every 2 or 3 weeks.
No, I'm not retired. I turn 44 next week so may be a little too early for that. I'm a grad student so I have quite a bit of free time on my hands in between working on the thesis. Also this combined with not having kids means my weekends are pretty freed up. The wife is also a grad student but she works full time and does the study part time. She does all of her work on the weekends so I have plenty of uninterrupted time in the mancave
I started on the OA-37B. Not much to this kit as I said. The cockpit is really spare so I added some PE harnesses and a couple of extra dials on the sidewalls.
As you can see from the scale, it's a tiny bird.
Clamped it together
Looks good from here... they really don't give you much of a cockpit, do they?
It's been a long time since I've posted, I haven't had any dough to really do anything, but due to me being a brave boy on my rather uh sensitive surgery(the sensitive should give you the clue) today, I spoiled myself and picked up a 72nd scale Academy F14A, it does have a ground attack loadout in it as well. So I came looking for aGB I could put it in to motivate me and low and behold here's one. I'm usually more noted for building armor rather then aircraft on here but I build everything. So count me in, I'll PM with the info.
Likely this will be box stock with MAYBE some scratch details as I'm too broke to get AM stuff. If I can figure out where my resin went to I may crate and cast some of my own parts. The only thing I've done to it as of yet is to glue one part ofthe nose gear wheelwell into one half of the nose.
Yeah thank god I have these Vicodin or I would probably be in tears all day. I have a fe days off though. Too bad I'm gonna get written up for it, they don't care about medical issues or anything, but too bad the supe will get fired when I call HR. LOL.
Anyhow the ground attack loadout isn't here in the box as labeled, that's ok I have a 72nd scale A10 that's missing a couple of major parts so I can snake the ordinance from it. Might not be entirely accurate but I'll have fun with it.
I do feel better when I take them.
Progress is coming on the Tomcat. Cockpit is nearly done.
