This is getting pretty humorous, 100 posts on the badge. LOL

Well that pretty much sums it up Carl. Either go with this or use a facing tiger  like the first badge to go along with the Panther so they're side-by-side. This version is probably more arty.

LOL, and still with almost three months to go before the official kick-off date.

No complaints whatsoever here, love all the badges- every single one. Heart

Eric , i have a thousand more ideas but it would take another 100 pages to work them all out with everyone . LOL . Like i said i enjoy doing this stuff as much as building . I'll leave this last badge as the final offering for now .Toast

p.s. that last one will look better and be easier to read when reduced to badge size .

grrr... their all cool.. the Middle one was the one I was refering to for the 2 differant Cats depending on your build..but you could take the 3rd badge... switch the cats... tiger on top in middle over the panther,, then you u could still have a differant badge depending on your tank you built.. with out a bunch of changes..Whistling

I like number 3 or you could take number two and give the option of a Tiger. Zip it!

We still have until July ...............Whistling . What i'm hearing is that we need a badge with just a Panther or just a Tiger and then again we could have a Tiger and Panther along side of each other .............ok . It might be a couple of days though . I want to get back to building my 1/35th SA-2 . Its one of those missile things that knocked down Thuds over North  Viet Nam .

Carl - wow, on that third design.  With the elements I'm using I really can't compete with the flourish of colours.  It's cool with me if that is chosen as the one and only badge.

If there is still life in a three badge idea, another option is to have each one represent one of the three main scales: 1/35, 1/48, and 1/72.  This could be done by having the  wreath indicating the scale.

The latest update - added a plus sign to the number 2 to indicate more than one build completed.  Also changed the end date to reflect a possible one year build.  All this though is easily changed.

regards,

Jack

Great badges jack. I like your latest rendition.

Carl, it seems like we're setting in on your badge. Number 3 seems to have caught the eye of all. It does sum it up pretty well.

I'm going to try and fire up the recruiting with this post.

This is my kit, Dragon Tiger I Late. The box is crammed full of parts. It does come with the DS tracks, which I used once before on my Elefant. After working on the H-39 and Semovente indy tracks, this will be a Godsend. I will probably wish I had magic tracks, but oh well.

I have enough time to scout some camo ideas. I hate coming up with them, but have 3 months to figure it out.

Question , would "3rd Reich " (Germany 1933 -45) pretty much cover the time and place of these steel cats ?

Yes, but the Tiger cam out early 1942 and the Panther July 1943. I think you're going to add too much.

Operationally, yes. There was the Lowe and the leopard, not the post war tank, but these never got off the drawing board.

I really will check out that paint. I could only produce a basic GB badge when i hosted one, but that was on my Vista programe. The ones you are producieng look great.

Thanks Bish . I was trying to eliminate the confusion about what "cats" are included in this g.b. .Toast

I never have used" Vista" but this program is similar to the one that was on "XP" . The best tool is the "redo" arrow .................mine is almost worn out .Whistling
