Well'

I spent a lot of time searching my stacks for the rogue J-57 left over from my BUFF

build, and I can't find the dang thing anywhere's.

I was hoping to get into some building over the holidays, and thayzzz already over!

I had to work last week so it was holidayus-interupptus.

Struggling just to keep the building surface of my desk from being piled up

with less important stuff!

I did get a !/72 Ventura for Krimas, always wanted a 1/32 version....

I did manage to find the bomb-casing for a Super-Gadget as I was diggin'

for the J-57.

Guys, have a

Hey, All,

I've been trying to post a picture here but when I select the Use rich formatting option, the tool bar doesn't show up. Are any of you having the same problem?

Hey Russ,

No problem like that on my end.

It might be your ISP is having a glitch supporting the site functions,

or there's been an "upgrade" not supported by your system.

Can't tell from my end.

Try FSM for tech support if you haven't already,

Good to hear Russ:

I never use the Explorer kit, so i never would have guessed it was an "upgrade."

Of course, I've argued micro soft is 'retro-grade' even on a good day!Angel

Man;

I've been sick with a very bad flu, I came down with it on the 10th!

Friday(24th) was my last full day sick,

and I finally got some energy back on Saturday and Sunday. I'm not

quite back in the saddle but I'm working on it.

I'm so far behind, I don't know where to start.

Hi, Dom,

I hear you, bud. I've had a cold twice in the last two months but thankfully, it wasn't the flu. Hope you get better real soon. Don't worry about catching up - just start in again when you feel like it.

Did you get your flu shot? If not, get it! There are some nasty strains around this year.

Take care and get well,

Russ

Hi All!

I haven't been sick yet this year, but I have been busy at work.  My department is surprised by winter every year.  This year it was worse than normal.  So, lots of stress and lots of fatigue.  It should settle down some soon and I'll get back to building.

Hi, All,

I managed to snag a B-52 kit off eBay. The cost was $43 including shipping. I plan to do this one as an  C or D model being loaded with nukes. As to where I'm going to put it - it may be that a layout in the garage isn't so far fetched after all.....

Cheers,

Russ

Yeah Jim;

Even here in Toronto, people like our hydro departments and road departments

got caught off guard with the ice and snow, and the cold has been busting

mains and destroying asphalt. We're still getting burps after the black-out.

I'm still a bit shaky from the influenza 'A', but I took the pup for a walk today, his first

since Jan 14. Or should I say my first.....Smile

Beauty Russ;

There's a J-57 in there somewhere....Wink

I should check that resin shop to see if they've restocked their '50s & 60's

nukes. I have a few of the nukes for external mounting, but need some of those

big fire-crackers.

Here's the list i dig up when I need guidance:

Oh yeah, i have kits in the garage too Whistling

This just in; i bought some resin nukes from this guy;

he seems to be out of stock of everything, but he has an email address.

Last I chatted he was looking for a new artist to cast the resin.

by the way; here's my last contact with Sanger, about 2 weeks ago:

Hello Dominic,

Thank you for your email regarding the 1/48th B52 kit.

I am sorry for the delay in replying, we have had so many orders that things were getting behind.

We are completing the wings which are the last 'masters' to finish.

Your name has been filed, so that as soon as the kit is ready, we will automatically email you advising you.

When we advise you, I will also ask after decals, if you require them.

With apologies,

Gerald.

Great link, Dom! Thanks! It looks like the big bombs we flew were the B-53. Two in the bomb bay and a Hound Dog on each wing. Scary.
