Well, I got to put the light blue on the bottom last night after about 45 minutes of taping.......LOL!  and I still got over-spray in the wheel wells!    She should be finished by the weekend.  Thank you SS for your patience!

Thanks to Bish I'll put this in the right place.....The DO-335 is my favorite aircraft of all time!! I built this one about a year ago, It's 1/24 scale 22.5" wingspan and 23" long made of paper. I got it at Ecardmodels.com, it's a download and print at home, model comes in 1/33 scale but I enlarged to 1/24...hope you guys don't mind some paper around here.......LOL......Rich

Here is the first coat of camo on the 335.  Doing the second now.  Man, the splinter camo IS NOT as easy as it may look!

Rich, that's a really nice looking build. How did you do the clear canopy.

Thanks Bish, For the canopy I built the paper one with the glue tabs on outside the filled it with plaster and used that to vacuform a plastic one........Rich

Thank you!  Although, I'm still not sure the lighter camo color is right.  I used the Tamiya color suggestion which said to mix 2 colors, but not sure it is accurate.  But no sleep lost, I think it looks cool.  Looks more like US Army colors I think.    I hope to finish it up tonight!

eagle, that looks really good, I think the colours are just right as they are. Which Tamiya colours did you go with.

Hey Bish--how do you get so many badges to fit in your sig line?? I put my Arrow on then realized I never claimed the WW1 aero badge but the system wouldn't let me fit it (too many characters or something like that).  Sorry about the off topic stuff.

I put them all into one image, that cut down the number of characters. I use paint.net to do that, the same as I do my to make GB badges. The other option is to make a GIF file, the rotating badges some guys use.

Had more time last night and got the decals on and 2 coats of Micro SOL.  Should be done tonight...if I get home at a decent hour!  Just a dull coat and the wheels and props installed is all that is left!
