Our pleasure peter. Really nice build. I'm a huge 251 fan and always like seeing them built, but even more so when they are like this. Great job.

Hi, All done the kit went together well and I over painted the cam with the lighter colour to give dusty look and to tone it down.

nice camo. is it blended with anything or is that the way the camera took the pic? i really like the lack of sharp contrast aand toned down look.

i am still working on JGSDF TYPE 87 spaa. indy tracks bah.. well probably being chicken s**t on this but i needed an easy fast build to get my *** going so i started the 37mm  FLAK 37 towed gun. should have it ready to prime and pics on wed.. probably to a truck and have it in travel mode. that should complete the hat trick for this GB. i have been away too long.

No worries Peter. It doesn't matter if its not finished by tomorrow night, as long as you have posted some progress pics, which you have.

Really nice job on this. I have built one of Dragon's 251's, the /17 Ausf D, so I guess this is pretty similar. But were there any issues with the kit. I have this in the stash as well, along with all my other 251's, so anything to look out for would be nice to know.

Stik: That little MG looks very nice!

Eagle: She's looking great! I can't ait to see that diorama!

Bish: Thanks for keeping this one open for everything already WIP! All the problems with my P-47 really ruined my building schedule...

Thank you sir!  Bish is helping with the dio too, so it HAS be good!  Wink  I'm excited about it and should get moving on it soon.

Bish

Nice work guys, right in under the wire. I do like those figures stik, really nice work on those. Now they just need a base.

Eagle, really nice job on that. That colour is a lot better. And lovely backdrop, that will look nice behind the dio. Look forward to that's when its done.

Same with your wayne.

We have just over one day left for this GB to run. I would like to thank everyone who has taken part and produced some great builds. Of course, any builds that have already been started, feel free to keep posting your progress and claim your badge as long as you have posted some progress pics before the deadline.

And thanks eagle for helping me out with this one. Hopefully it hasn't given you to many headaches and will be good practice for hosting your own GB. Speaking of which, don't forget guys, Eagle and myself have the 2 Armour in the West GB's coming up in June.

caution, shameless plug approaching.

Yeah, your 88 needs a crew... all guns need a crew! I look forward to that diorama

LOL!   I am doing figures for it too!  Even got a radio guy from a good friend!  These will be my first figures (other than the bigger Mr. Scott I did), so it will be fun!

I plan on doing a dio with her.  Got a couple of things that will really make it pop!  More to come on that.

Eagle, that looks dang good to me! I really love that backdrop, it adds a nice touch of a beautiful day about to be ruined by the aluminum overcast.

Pick whichever photo you prefer my friend!

Shiv, thanks for the clarification on that. Some of those Arab markings and paint schemes are pretty hard to tell apart.

Eagle, I look forward to your finished 88. I never get tired of seeing those.

Thanks stik!  I'm pretty excited about finishing my first armor type kit!  The Puma is coming along very nicely too, but it is a lot different than the 88 is build wise.

Thanks Stick. The markings are Egyptian from the Yom Kipur war

Shiv, that SA-2 looks great! are those Egyptian or Iraqi markings? I like that Arleigh Burke class build as well. I see ships of that class moored nearby at Seal Beach every so often and their lines are growing on me.

Eagle, always good to see the classic 88! Yours is almost done! I cant wait to see her finished!

Well the other day I realized that the end date here is just around the corner, so I pulled my build off the sidelines and started knuckling down on the finishing touches. I hope to have some photos up soon.
