I see only western & Pacific fronts aviation, so I am thinking of joining with a Yak-3 fighter, as flown during the  Soviet Baltic Offensives of autumn 1944.

Progress report. Okay now in the painting stage and getting ready to weather the Tiger. I do not like the camo pattern that I did but  oh well I am still learning the ropes with the airbrush. lol.

Damn, sorry Nomad, missed this one and have let this GB slip a bit. Nice to see you get this one finished, I think SS is still playing catch up on the forums after his long absence. I'll give him a nudge to get this on the front page.

I regret that I am also a little slow on the uptake Nomad. I believe that you have done a rather masterful piece of work on a pretty raw model. Your camo especially, is really well done. Thank You for taking the time and effort to share your talents with us.

I'm actually making some slow progress on the Hellcat. I've met with some self induced set backs. Namely with the Quickboost gun barrels. I ended up having to order a second set and redo them in order to get the right. I'm getting near to the primer stage but, I'll get some pics up here soon prior to doing so.

I was planning on starting my 251 for this GB right after I finished the Stuka. But I have decided I want a wall/gate to complete the dio for it, I am determined not to add any more kits to the waiting list. So I have put the 251 off till later in the year.

Ken: That's gonna be a beast of a model once it's done!

Joe: I'm looking forward to some WIP pics!

I'm still waiting for some AM parts to dress up my Hellcat a bit more, but I hope I can start on it right away when they get here (should be somewhere around the end of July)

Quick update, with the world cup going on I don't have much free time left to work on my fw 190. Everything went really well with the cockpit but as soon as I started with the firewall it looks like it all went to hell! Don't get me wrong, I really like this kit for is fine detail and all the extra goodies, and I know for a fact that all my problems with it are due to my own mistakes but it is in fact a unforgiving kit, I feel like even 0.5 mm misalignment  will get me in trouble. 

Anyway, this hobby would be the same without the challenges!

Aaw, my dear Jorge. Fret not, as many a very experienced modeler here have fallen into the pitfalls of the precision fitting Eduard 190. And as far as your "rookie mistake" goes, that should be easily remedied with some sanding. Your doing a grand job there. Don't get discouraged just keep treating us to your fine work.

Well, at least one thing, I am not the only one who makes that rookie mistake. That liquid weld can cause some major damage when it seeps under your thumbs. For all the trouble its giving you, its great to see your pushing on with it.

Geez..I weld my stupid fingers to my projects all the time!!! If I had a dollar......LOL

Hey Bish, Thanks for asking. Although I haven't posted any pics in a while I have been making progress on the Hellcat. Albeit rather slow progress. I am just about to the priming stage. I have the wings on complete with Quickboost gun barrels. I messed up the first set of guns and thusly had to order a second set. I also got the Quickboost exhaust pipes on which took a bit of alteration and time. All in all it's coming along nicely. Your query is timely Bish in that I hoped to have some pics on here tomorrow. How's everyone else coming along?

I'm glad to finally get you all some progress pics. As I said before I added quickboost gun barrels and exhaust pipes. I've also used PE on the oil cooler, belly access hatch, tail wheel and on the upper ID lights. I've still got to add the PE rings for the lower ID lights. I had to carve out the molded on exhaust pipes with my Dremel engraver bit in order to install the AM pipes. Before on the right and post carved on the left.

So, here's where I am at at the moment. Also of note here is that I did not have to glue the wings at all. They fit so tightly into the slots that it is not necessary. Nice! Thanks for taking a look.
