Every ones build look great. I'm having a computer problem, so please aqccept this picture of my MASH Chopper as my finished pic until i get the puter figured out. I've finished it, but the puter wont get the pics off my camera.

I have it on a helicopter pad base at the MASH unit and the guys are pretty bloody lol

Yes, I have decided I am going to rattle can this one for sure! Thanks guys, the two posters, The one is Our (the Yankee Air Museum in Willow Run Michigan's) B-17G, the Yankee Lady" and the other is of Our B-25 (not sure of the letter designation) the "Yankee Warrior".. They are part of the Flyable collection, along with Our C-47, "Yankee Doodle Dandy"..... As I am in a wheelchair, I have yet to get to go for a ride on the B-17, but I told them "I don't care if you roll me up in a rug and feed me thru the hatch, I wanna go!". My gradfather was a tail gunner On B-17's and 24's, and participated in "big Week" and the Ploesti Raid. My great gradnparents all worked at the Ford B-24 Bomber plant at willow run.  -Rudy

I have had good reasults with BMF finishes using a variety of different silver and steel paints.  the B36 I did used 5 different colors of silver, all Tamiya rattle can

It's hard to believe that the B-17 is a tad smaller than the B-29 because they are both HUGE in 1/48. Your -29 is really coming along. Looking forward to seeing more.

I also totally dig your wall covered with all the images of cool aircraft.

Everyones builds are looking great! WOW, brandon K, that PE is nuts!! I have yet to work with any PE, but hope to try some soon. Progress has been slow, but my 1:48 B-29 is finally starting to look like a plane, I joined the fuselage halves, they fit pretty poorly to be honest. I was inquiring in the general forum about using Alclad, but having never used it before, I think I will try a MUCH SMALLER subject first!!! This will be my third 1:48 Bomber in the last couple years, and while they are may favorites, i think I will work on the 1:48 F4U corsair or some other smaller stuff for a change after this... Here are a few pics of me joining the fuselage halves, I didnt take a pic of the plane with both wings on yet.. Dont mind my messy bench and hobby room...  Rudy

That is a lot of work, but I'm excited to see the final result. The 727 is such a cool plane, I need to look into that 1/100 kit.

I've been working on a Nitto 1/100 727 for this GB.  It is being built for a friend who had started it and then asked me to do it for him because he felt he could not do it well enough.  I got it with the wings and fuselage gled together, but not well, the wing trailing edges are pretty thick the way the parts are molded and the fuselage halves were not matched up too well, with steps at the parting lines.  I managed to get everything apart, mostly with a very sharp and carefully used exacto knife and a JLC saw.  I removed the kit windows.  After sanding the inside of the wings I reassembled them and set them aside.

I don't like decal windows in this scale, so I hade Mike Vyukil at Vintage Flyer decals cut some window masks for me from drawings I sent to him developed from another Nitto 727 kit I found for the princely sum of $25.00.  I filled all the cabin window from the inside with clear casting resin and then sanded them smooth on the outside.  With a drop of Future I think they will be as clear as need be and they are perfectly flush with the outside skin, of course.  I didn't do anything about the resin getting on the outside skin, in most of the window line it just bulged out a little, in a few places it did run out over several windows but did not take long to slice off and then sand.  Right now I have the fuselage glued back together and I am working on seams.

The tables, floor and door look first rate, looks like you installed some real plywood. Nice work on everything. The more I look the more detail I see 

I had to use 100 gallons of Testors White Glue to attach my front windows.  I agree, it is a very bad fit.  As you correctly stated, I completely agree with you in that; " The overall fit was good especially for it's age."

You did a fantastic job on your B-17!  Absolutely a pro build, I love it.  Can't wait to see the other one built!

Update: Slowly making progress on A Bit O Lace. The interior is finally done and all the test fitting is complete and she'll go together without too much fuss. The glass is all masked, that was fun , and it is all installed. I used Micro Crystal Clear to secure the glass in place and fill the gaps. OH, and about those gaps, good Lord!! Many of the side windows fit pretty well, but the front corner windows and the two above the cockpit, not good, not good at all. 

The fit was so far off, the glass was too small, that I very nearly gave up on them and was ready to use a Squadron set. But, I think now that I have used plenty of Crystal clear to fill in the edges and hold the glass, they appear to be ok. We'll see about that when I try to pull the masks. It's too bad that the openings and the glass are so far off. Otherwise the kit's overall fit is not all that bad, given its age.

Anyway, here are some shots as I test fit it all. I'm waiting for the Crystal clear to full harden before I commit to closing it up. Hopefully, I will have it closed sometime today.

Update. I've been moving painfully slow through the interior, painting and detailing till I get it where I want it. There are certainly plenty of inaccuracies throughout but all that will be hidden when I close it up. When I do my visible version I will be attempting to correct much of that and it will take a great deal of time.

Yesterday I managed to get the primary portion of the cockpit assembled. I spent most of the day applying the PE, which really made the pit look good, but those bits are CRAZY small and very difficult to work with. Not perfect but it looks decent to my eye. I won't get much more done till next week as the Weekend Madness begins tomorrow and I'll be absorbed by that till it's over. Thanks for looking.

This shot shows you how small many of the bits were on this instrument panel. They were quite difficult to work with.

I've started the Titan/X-20 stack.

The X-20 is a simple 2 part printed kit. The surface was very rough, as most

printed kits are. It took a bunch of sanding/priming/repeat to get it passable.

The Titan is the old MPC kit that R-2 rerelesed last year. The Kit is great to have back,

but frankly its kind of crappy.

I've glued the 3 rocket bodies together, They will require much attention to get them looking good.

That's going to be cool. I remember the test flight and release of the shuttle Enterprise, watched it on TV. 747 with piggy back shuttle combo, love it!

I started my next one allready  Has 1/200 747 with the shuttle.  painting it in the early BMF livery

The fit is fantastic. Typical Hasegawa kit.
I should be able to start the painting tomorrow.
