Don't worry about it. I have several GB's I'm trying to finish as well. This move has really put me behind. I still haven't gotten my bench set up, let alone started on my own GB's.

There are some really awesome builds going on here.  I promise I will get started at some point, I've had to switch projects as the Hornet I'm doing currently is actually for someone that lost a son and I figured it might be a little too personal and private to be sharing.  So I'll toss in with a Blue Angel when I get started on it.  I've tried polishing out a paint job with Novus on small bits, I'm interested to see how it does on the full airframe.

Great looking build Toshi.   Perhaps you can shoot a pic of the "visible"  side for the wall of fame.

Nicely done Toshi! Those are almost even my initials, "BNV" =D

Quick question about it.  Are those markings from a particular plane?  Often times there were anti-glare panels painted in Olive Drab to prevent the crew from being blinded by light reflecting off of the engine nacels and in front of the cockpit.  Did your reference have these?  I can't recall any plane that was on the line in NMF without them...I'm sure there's always an exception though.

Rudy: I can't believe I missed in your post about the B-29 where you had parts for Fat Man and Little Boy?!  That is Bad@ss!!  I've often considered (as I'm sure plenty others here as well have) how I'd go about scratching out these two.  Glad to know somebody out there is has a mold.  Save me from fooling with the math. Ha! =]  Looking forward to seeing those build up.

That's looking nice . It looks like the wings should be a mix of gray with polished alumumin leading slats

That's a bummer about the stab's, Scratching some seems like quite a challange. You are welcome to change you entry if you like although I'd hate to see all that work go to waste. Personally, I'm not as good as you when it comes to scratch building.

Thank you modelcrazy, I did the build to the best of my abilities.  I'm still trying to catch up with everyone on the forum.  Forum members builds are absolutely stunning and built in a very pro manner.  I hope one day to do so as well.

Well everyones work looks good ! Its great to see two iconic WW2 era bombers in this build.

As for me I just realized that my 777 kit is missing the horizontal stabilizers. So I am in a predicament. I could try to scratch buils some or just drop drop the 777 altogether and select a different airframe. And from what I hear trying to get replacement parts from minicraft is like trying to find a unicorn. What to do hmmmmm.

I will be proud to show your build on the wall when you're complete. I'm glad you chose Cody and my group build as you're first.

To my fellow forum members,

I have just assembled the joining of the two halves of the "Flying Fortress", to complete the model, I still have much to do.  The rest of the canopies, machine guns, turrets, and engines will be added on tomorrow.  

Once this has been accomplished, I can then add the decals and seal the entire aircraft.  Please see below for progress.

Looking good Theuns!!!  Toshi- I know about TBI, I have a spinal cord injury (T-3 level) and was in physical rehab with lots of people with TBI... That is surely a battle, everyday. I am glad you found something to occupy your time, AND it helps with motor skills, etc... I hope you can get the utmost recovery possible!
