Thanks BrandonK.
Thanks Silentbob: Intruder is coming along great, I agree sanding and fill is not my favorite thing either.
Thanks Johnny.
Thanks Gamera.
Bish: Good to hear the 162 went together well, nice paint job also. The dark brown and green scheme is unique.
68GT: The Corsair looks great, excellent finsh.
Ran into a few problems airbrushing the camouflage scheme, Even with a fine head on my Badger 200G I was not able to control the over spray. I tired the trick of using X-20A thinner on a lightly damp Q tip to remove the dried over spray, it just ate through the paint. I know that enamel thinner works better on removing over spray, so I airbrushed on Model Master Enamel Dark Gray (F-15) #2036. It took three light to coats to build it up solid, then after letting it try for four hours using a lightly damp Qtip with enamel thinner I was able to clean up the over spray very easily.

To help speed the F-15C, I went and masked up five different colors to airbrush. Tamiya XF24 Dark Grey for the nose, Model Master Insignia White #1745 for the wheel wells, Model Master Jet Exhaust #1796 for the exhaust, Tamiya Flat Black XF-1 for vents, and Tamiya XF-16 Flat Aluminum for vent frames. It took a good three to four hours on masking the Eagle up with Tamiya tape.

I'm very happy how it turned out, painting the vents really make's them pop out. After removing the masking tape I brush painting on marker lights on the wings and tail, and the vents with the aluminum frame. Tamiya Clear Red, Clear Blue, Clear Green & Clear Orange for the marker lights, and Tamiya White for the top of the tail and wing tips.
