I'm in with the Italeri F-35A in 1/32 scale. Continuing my Thunderbirds theme. Getting my photo posting account reset so will post up some pics shortly.

Oh that's going to be cool! Couple people here have built F-22s but don't think I've seen anyone build a F-35 yet.

Lost - Thanks, I'm pretty happy with how it turned out. The Photobucket thing is what it is, I switched over the Flickr and haven't had any issues yet. Theuns - Hope you're feeling better and can stay healthy. Your health is definitely more important than any kit. Castelnuovo - Great finish! I've got that kit in the stash and it looks like a nice one, and seeing yours confirms it

Hope they got it all out Theuns, hate to have you go though all that again.

Cool looking model, the French built some pretty choppers. Nice work on the engine there, guess you kinda need to detail it since it's right up on top there.

I hear you.

Here is my allo 3

. by Theunis van Vuuren, on Flickr

Here it is with glazing on, you can see the poor fit. Will be interesting to fill and sand without stuffing up the clear bits.

Engine was a biy bare, so I added some copper wire and sprue to make it more busy.

Theuns good to hear you're on the mend. Your health is more important then any model.

Well, I was diagnosed with cancer a few weeks back, but seems they got it all cut out of me, I just need to do more CT scans to confrm all clean now.

Lucky for me it is a very treatable and curable one, so I am happy about that but the costs of medical care in South Africa is madness. I had to fork out about a month's salary to get it all done (have no medical insurance, just un-affordable) but could not wait for the state health system, so all model related and other non esintial expences are out for a while lol

LA: Looks cool, I love that paint scheme!

Theuns: I hope you're doing better now. I know what you mean, I've been stuck on some stuff recently. I keep telling myself I need to finish it up before I start something else but instead of motivating me instead I just don't build anything... Embarrassed

After some health issues, I decided that models that iritate me WRT bad fit, filling and sanding ect get re- boxed and I start somthing new.....life is to short to be fighting with models LOL

I started a 1/72 Heller Allouette 3. the model is fairly basic, the only real chalange is to get the 3 piece glazig to fit the cabin, there are seams to be joined that on the full size is only 1.5" wide at the door frames, so carefull glue application is called for.

I kinda like the Allo 3, whan I was a combat flight  medic I did some casevac in it. Although it is not fast (maybe 80-100 kts) and small, the visability in the cabin is second to none :-)

Hi Brandon,

would like to join the GB with Revell's AH1S Cobra in USFS colours. Not planning to start right away, but I am testing Google Pics out as my hosting site after the PB snafu.

CN, the Super Dog is looking great.

Bob, the Intruder was looking good until it got PB'd

Some of the 100+ decals that come with this baby. I'll need a therapy after this Smile. But they go on well. What a difference from few decals on tanks to this Smile

LOL then you'll go nuts with the Academy 1/48 F4B. It has over 400 decals and stencils!
