Better late than never. Here is where I am with the Trumpeter 1/144 Gato 1944 model. I'm letting her cure before I start with the artist oil weathering.
Steve
Oh cool! I interested in seeing it weathered.
Building a kit from your stash is like cutting a head off a Hydra, two more take it's place.

Steve, I was hoping you were gearing up for the next round of this GB. Was feeling very interested :) Or even a different maritime one.
Cheers
Tony
I'm just taking it one GB at a time.
Sure Tony, I can do another maritime GB. Lord knows I have plenty of subjects to choose from in the stash .
Did you have something in mind?
Surface, modern, WW1, WW2, destroys, cruisers, battleships, cruise ships? I have everything but WW1, but I have my eye on the Revell SMS Dresden & SMS Emden combo, God help me.
Haha, I think you should get them too. Most of my stuff is WW2, but I'd be happy to go with the flow.
Tony,
What do you think of a British Ships GB? From sailing to the latest warships, cruise ships, subs, all era's all classes, including subs?
Or the same thing with German, Japanese or American?
That way it includes every class, every time period.
I'm going to call her done. Thanks for hosting this GB!
That looks great Steve , the weathering looks fantastic!
I'll put it up when I get home. Thank you for joining.
Steve, I got your Gato up.
Tony, I noticed that I had forgotten to put your excelent bust and type IV up on the wall. They are up now, sorry.

No worries my friend.
In fact, I was just formulating the wording for a GB feeler thread.
No probs at all Steve, I actually hadn't noticed !
