SInce you did such a great job on the Spruance, I needed to step up.

Well, progress on my Hawkeye is painfully slow due to poor fit, so I've cracked open the 102 and begun painting the cockpit. I don't have anything to show yet, but in the next few days I should posting up some pics and progress. So far, it looks like it will go together with no fuss.

What is the scale and Manufacturer BK?

Well, I'm almost done the StuG, just have to paint the figures. Would anyone have any ideas who to paint these guys? From my limited knowledge S.P. guns wore field grey uniforms? What other camo would they be in?

Got the pits painted and detailed, will get some pics up as soon as I get them in the fuselage and get that glued up.

I don't have the foggiest idea regarding German uniforms but if you pose the question on the armor forum you'll get more info than you"ll need or want.

Since I finished he Blenheim I returned to the Eurofighter.

The seams are filled and I need to finish touching up the cockpit, mask and install the canopy, install the canards and paint. The paint scheme is the same throughout so it shouldn't be any problem.

Nice looking plane Europe.

As far as the 102, I've completed the seam work and need to get some shots taken and post them up. I'll try to get to that later today. It's a nice kit and has great detail. It also builds very easily with no fuss at all.

Looks like yours went together a lot easier than mine did. Is the IP a decal or pe? I do recomend getting the window mask for this bird, makes life a whole lot easier. Looking good.

The IP is a the kit decal. I didn't spend too much time on the cockpit as it will be closed and very small so it will be hard to see anyway.

Thats really cool, GA. The first thing I thought of when I saw the mud was Laurel and Hardy "Well it's another fine mess  you've gotten us into". I really need to expand my building into dios. You guys make it look so good.

Thanks Eagle 90, It was really run making the mud. Also, to get it really muddy looking I used vallejo dark mud splashes and wet effects.

Eagle90 that looks like some thick mud! very realistic for sure. How painful was it to bury those tracks?

Well, for me, I cut out trenches where I wanted to sink the model into. Used styphome. Then I used celluclay paint goop mix to cover it.

Hello everyone.  I've cracked open the Hs 126 A-1 and started to get this build under way!  Going with some nice photoetch enhancements to the front office but this kit really doesn't need them as its quite beautiful OTB.  The only issue thus far is a misaligned fuselage that I'll have to put on the thinking cap to remedy.  Such a beautiful bird.

I think the idea you told me of removing the aligning pins sounds like a good solution.

Yup, I've had that exact issue before. Sand off the pins and start in that spot with glueing and work your way around a bit at a time and take a few days to get it all done. It will align perfectly and you will be super happy with it. Paul B. does this on all his kits and that man is a modeling God. Good luck.
