The P-40 is coming on well AA.
I am a Norfolk man and i glory in being so
On the bench: Airfix 1/72nd Harrier GR.3/Fujimi 1/72nd Ju 87D-3
Short update on the 111. Most of the construction is done. I did have some issues with the fit of the outer lower wings and the engines. The latter i think caused by the former. I hate it when i have issues with a kit that are not mentioned in reviews as it makes me think i have done something wrong. And is often the case, i can't figure out what. But after some filling and sanding it all in place.
The bomb bay doors are also a bit small, but that deffinetly is not somthing i have done.
A few bits of PE to add and the canopy to fit and mask and it will be ready for painting.
Bish, I recently DVRed the movie Battle of Britain. I have often thought it would be fun to modify an He.111 kit to add Merlins to represent the CASA 2.111s that flew in the movie.
OK. In the stash: Way too much to build in one lifetime...
I'm surprised no one has done a conversion set for that.
Bish I had the exact same issues with mine. I do love the cockpit details.

Thanks Chad, and at least i know it isn't me. I think getting the wheel wells right is a key thing, i can to take one wing apart and move one of them back. But the other one was still a bit to far forward.
Well, here it is: Bruce Carr's "Angels' Playmate." This Airfix P-51D kit is a little gem. A little tiny thing just crammed with detail. The overall paint is Alclad Aluminum. The exhaust shrouds are Alclad Chrome. The yellow nose is MM Insignia Yellow and black stripes are MM flat black. The decals are an old set of Microscale Decals. I sealed the whole thing with Tamiya Gloss. For a guy who doesn't like to build 1/72 scaale, I really enjoyed this build. Now I'm on to an Airfix 1/72 scale F-80C that's just about ready for paint. Oh yeah, the invasion stripes are decals from the Microscale sheet.

I do like CMK sets, at least in 72nd.
frank, that is lovely. Really nice finish on the NMF, great looking build, thank you.

On the workbench: Monogram 1/24 '69 Pontiac GTO and a Monogram 1/67 (box scale) B-26 Invader
Well done, Frank. Looks real sharp.
Thanks, y'all. I like these 1/72 scale airplanes, much to my surprise. I'm even trying stuff I've never even tried in 1/48 scale.
I entered this one in the Japanese GB can I also add it in here?
On the Bench: 1/72 Ki-67, 1/48 T-38
1/144 AC-130, 1/72 AV-8A Harrier
John, yep, sure can.
Oh, I love that kit John. Nice fit.
Steve
Building a kit from your stash is like cutting a head off a Hydra, two more take it's place.

Got started on the cockpit, prop and engine.
Off to a nice start John.
Steve, is this the same one you did in captured markings?
BishSteve, is this the same one you did in captured markings?
No, that was a Hase, A6M5 model 52. I did an Airfix A6M2b model 21 for the Midway GB.
The only thing I didn't care for was the canopy gap, but with some work that can be remedied.
Almost done now, all the decals are applied; just have to finish painting and installing the sliding piece of the canopy, and add a little weathering:
Looking really nice AA.
