Your tank sure has the extras, Sigep! Surprise

wolfhammer1 - Go towards the bottom of the page to the section (box) above the “Search Forums” box. Then click “Settings”. There is an area for your Signature in which you can add writing and/or insert a picture just as you would in a regular forum post. If you have multiple pictures to insert (either now or eventually, after you collect multiple GB badges), you can insert a GIF instead of individual pictures to conserve space in your signature.

Ziggy, that looks good.  I am a fan of 1/72 armor.

Hey Greg,

I like everything 1/72 scale, armor, automobiles and aircraft.  I plan to do a diorama with my two tanks in front of a building marked 'Military Museum' or 'Korean War Museum', complete with people and cars in the parking lot.

Ziggy, that sounds pretty interesting.  I build exclusively 1/72 in aircraft, and armor,  but I have always stuck with 1/24 and 1/25 in autos.  Which I haven't finished one in years.  I'm looking forward to your upcoming diorama.

So far, all I've done on my AD-4W is paint the engine and propeller while painting the ones for my An-2 in the Vietnam GB.  I really want to build a USMC machine, so I'm hoping the aftermarket comes through.  Otherwise, I will be piecing together the markings.  I got some time before I have to worry about it though.

Nice, Ziggy! Yes

I like getting 1/48 aircraft kits and 1/35 armor kits personally; but I do have a 1/72 Airfix Tomahawk which I haven’t built yet.

Hey John, I think I might be up for this!  I've built very few models from that timeframe, but have quite a few in the stash.  Sign me up for at least a Dragon1/35 M26A-1 Pershing tank to start off with:

Ernest

Last Armor Build - 1/35 Dragon M-26A1, 1/35 Emhar Mk.IV Female

Last Aircraft Builds - Hobby Boss 1/72 F4F Wildcat & FW-190A8

John, I don't know what I was thinking, the B-26K came along after Korea, it was a Viet Nam combatant.  Please change me to the Tamiya F-84G, 1/48.

Ok, sure thing! I do think A-26s were used in Korea, but maybe not the K variant... Big Smile

Hehe, we would of gone along building and your model would have been ahead of the time quite literally!

I have made my decision on my project, a 1/35 Tamiya M40.  I also splurged on their upgrade set for the metal barrel.

I started the AFV Club version some years back, with disastrous results following a hobby table collapse, hopefully it goes better with the 2nd attempt.

Would you put me down as TBD? I know it'll be in 1/35, just haven't decided what yet.

Cockpit done:

Fuselage and wings assembled (requiring quite a bit of putty at the wing roots Sad ):

And, the tail and nose assembled:

Were we supposed to start already?

In any case nice work there AA, you're off to a great start!

Robert: Great photos there of the M40. I've got the AFV Club kit. It's been in about three GBs so far and over five years and I still haven't finished the darn thing yet... Sad Good luck with yours!

Hello again, everybody! The GB “officially” starts in January 2020; but I’ve allowed anyone who wants to start sooner to begin this month. :)

Glamdring - Thanks for the link to all those photos! Big Smile

AA- Boy! You already have a lot of that plane together! Congrats!

Thanks, I only started it a week ago.  But it's a really simple kit; the last picture there only represents about 20 parts total!

Your F-51 just has to keep the MiG away from my soldiers on the ground! Hehe... Wink

Decided on this since it comes with some figures. I'm also kinda curious what the differences are from the Dragon kit that Stik is doing.

Welcome Sign, Stik!

Will the two Pattons have their respective yellow markings on ’em?

Decided on this since it comes with some figures. I'm also kinda curious what the differences are from the Dragon kit that Stik is doing.

The Orange Box kit comes with single piece DS tracks instead of the single piece indy link tracks. But you have to use the guide horns off of the original kit tracks with the DS band tracks.

Otherwise the kits are identical.

I am planning on doing mine in the Tiger markings. It’s too eye catching of a  scheme.
