DAAAYUM!!! Well folks.....I think we have a record here for both speed AND quality. Smoked that one John!! Exceptional finish and crazy build speed.

Yeah John, that amazing- super quality and incredible to see you done in a month. I might drag myself over the line at the end of the year.
Frank: Looks good! Looking forward to seeing how the pre-shading comes out.

Well, my Bf-109 is together. Now I have to prime and paint those annoying yellow leading edges...
All- Thanks for the kind comments on my build. It was a lot of fun and having it in the group build motivated me to work on it quicker than I normally would.
John that tropical scheme came out nice
Started on the Me210. This is one of Italeri better kits. Good fit so far
TJ: Nice start! I like the look of her already.
Cliff: Man do I ever hear you on the leading edges. I'm not looking forward to that on mine either.
TJ: Coming together very nicely so far.
Gamera, coming on nicely.
I am a Norfolk man and i glory in being so
On the bench: Airfix 1/72nd Harrier GR.3/Fujimi 1/72nd Ju 87D-3
The 210 is coming on well TJ. Good to hear its one of Itaeri's good kits.
Hey great job everybody
The K pit is shaping up. Still lots more stuff to add but it’s moving along.
Need to make some corrections on the side walls for the K version next.
Too many models to build, not enough time in a lifetime!!
Got some more painting done on my Me-210
John
On the Bench: 1/72 Ki-67, 1/48 T-38
1/144 AC-130, 1/72 AV-8A Harrier
John, that is a clever way to do the mottling. Paint is coming along nicely
JBRaider John, that is a clever way to do the mottling. Paint is coming along nicely
Great looking pit there PJ.
That is a very nice idea for the mottling John, and great result.
So I’m working on the pit sidewalls and something just didn’t look right. Did a lot of net surfing for the K pit and seems Trumpeter included the G series parts as the K, no surprise here as I well know that companies often goof details.
Here is the pit with the included parts
After some corrections on both sidewalls. The right side sidewall panel is the wrong shape and was unable to undue the Tamiya glue securing it so I left it as is. Added some scratch built thingies and now looks like the Kurfürst office.
The cockpit is done. Time to move on to the engine compartment.
The gun sight glass will be added once the fuselage is closed
Where's my 'chute, I want to fly it!

That is lovely PJ, first class.
Thanks John and Bish.
John: That paint is coming along nicely.
Ernie!! Ernie....Ernie! That pit looks great dude!! WOW!!
All: Not a whole lot of visual progress but I've been working on this pit since last week. No PE or added details yet in the way of parts but here we are before all of that stuff.
Thanks Joe, your pit is looking great too.
I'd like to join this group build.
1:72nd by Tamiya.
Peace-
Boris
Welcome aboard Boris. Look forward to seeing that. I've got that in the stash and am useing one of the decal options for my Academy kit. Which version are you doing.
That pit is looking nice already Joe. Good work.

Version? Uhh... I dunno :) I will probably make it like what's on the box art. All I've done so far is open it up and order some paint.
Thats the E-7, i have you on the roster.
OK. Some progress to report. Been painting the Bf 109E using Mr. Color(?) for the first time. And painting a splinter camouflage for the first time. The topside camo is RLM 70 and RLM 71 and the underside is RLM 65. Still trying to find some RLM 04 for the nose and rudder. Have a look:
OK. In the stash: Way too much to build in one lifetime...
Frank that is coming along nicely, the preshade on the fuselage came out great.
Looking good frank.
