WOW, what a pain in the A$$. Now I know why the Germans switched to a two tone splinter camo over the three tone.
On Ed's bench, ???
Ed-I'm sure it was a pain....I know I would have avoided it but it looks great!
Bob
I didn't know they ever did that!

Looks about as fun as masking a ju-188 canopy! Nice work though--you pulled it off!
On the Bench: Too Much
Actually, this is easier than a Ju-188 greenhouse. Too much variation on what the actual pattern is so I just winged it.
John, this was used by Germany around the time of the Spanish Civil War. Condor Legion used it in Spain as well.
Good work! She's nearing finish.

Thanks, Ed, maybe that will make the Stuka a more interesting project for me. I have some 109's I want to do in that era.
68GT: Yeah those splinter camos are a pain to paint but they look so good when done! Nice work!

68GT, that is a great job on the camouflage, a stunning scheme really well executed! Really sharp lines.
Thanks, I owe it all to 3M's painters tape, discontinued Model Master enamel paint and my trusty Badger 200 airbrush
Almost there, I just want to go and do some touchups of things I notice in the photos.
Oh that looks superb 68GT! Fantastic work on the splinter camo.
Nice one! Like Gamera said, fantastic work on the camo.
Thanks, considering what a turd this kit was I'm coming around on how it's turning out.
So you should, that is a great result 68, can't wait to see it after the touch ups!
