I'm tempted too, if only to give me the strength to complete at least one of the many super-detailling projects I've started but bnot completed over the past few years...

I might, just might, try to complete my 1/35 IS-3...

Pencil me in.

This group is all about detail. The thing is, people's modelling ability varies as does their patience. Yes a kit with an Eduard PE set would qualify, but what I hope this group will do is provide the inspiration and advice to take it that little bit further.
Even if that's only adding a bit of fuse wire or plasticard to add that little bit extra.

I think to keep in with the spirit of the GB we should start new projects on 1st Nov or after. But if this GB inspires you to pick up a kit thats been started but put on hold then I'm all for that.Thumbs Up [tup]

BTW Darren, the Enzo looks the business!Approve [^]

Without causing to much trouble, could you please give us a definition of super detailed. Some may consider slapping an Eduard PE set in something "Super Detailed".

I have a project that I recently started, would this qualify? I have photos posted in the auto forum. If not I have another project I've been considering that I could start.

My first choice is Tamiya's Enzo Ferrari which I've already started. Or I could start on Tamiya's Porsche Carrera.

Thanks
Darren

I've got the Verlinden detail set for the 109, and the Hasegawa Legion Condor kit.
Over the next 8 weeks I'm going to source some pictures from the web, books etc.
Looking at the Verlinden engine, there's considerable room for further detail, and I've not detailed an engine before so I guess I'll be sharing a few tips with Jon then!

Yes I'm tempted too but can't start until early next year because of the number of kits already underway.

hey yall. im tempted to join this GB. its good that i have a while to search for my subject. im going to be doing the (not sure who made it) 1/6 visible 283 Small-Block Chevy. il do every detail i can figure out how to, and since its an engine, its something i know a lot about. ive also got a sweet idea for the base. ill build a stand that will support the engine, those will be attached to a really glossy black base with an actual '55 Bel Air crest emblem attached as the nameplate. ahh, wutdahell, im in! Approve [^] later.

As far as I'm concerned a cross GB would be fine so long as its okay with the other group.

Interesting idea. There is a commonwealth GB comming up soon, so I was wondering if I could 'cross-use' my project for that (a 1/35 Trumpeter Chally II) to superdetail it and qualify for this GB as well. Would that be allowed?
