Well here is my finished camo. I just took the last three pictures in poor lighting conditions. It is giving me a goldish tan to them. If you know how to correct the lighting please let me know, thank you in advance. Next will be the canopy. I need to to Walmart and get me some fishing weights for the nose. I have yet to get my Japanese decals for it.

Ernie, that is gonna be an incredible camo pattern! I can't wait to see it when it is done!

Meanwhile, I got busy with my fifth addition to this Group Build. This is a French built Soumua tank in captured German markings. So far, I was able to built the lower hull and most of the roadwheels:

Then I built then turret (quite simple assembly actually!)

Then I cemented all the accessories to the top hull:

Next, I put the last wheels on, a little detail painting, and then mount the tracks on it, and I'll be ready for painting.

Thank you all for the encouragement. I decided to used Handi-Tak , also known as sticky tak, putty tak, etc for the mask material...I really like this technique and I truely have fun with it Big Smile [:D]. Once I get this completely masked I am going to paint it with Model Master Acryl Silver. I used IJA green by Gunze . Will post a pic on 3/22 of the finished painted product.

I finally got me a good camera, however I am still learning how to work with it. This P38 was just painted in IJA Green (acrylic) then I applied two coats of future to seal the paint. the next process will be to mask for the camo. Sealing with future coat will help prevent the paint from lifting when I remove the mask material. I find this to be a down side when using acrylic paint. This will be built straight out of the box. So far it is coming together rather nicely.

Nice looking little dingo there Reb! Awesome work!

What scale is that little guy? I got one built in 1/76 scale that went with my Monty's Caravan. I lost the decals to that kit, so I can't finish it. Hopefully, I'll find them someday and get it done.

Jwest said that the CMK barrel for the KT was not very impressing, might want to stay away from it.

Thanks tankergeoff! Glad you appreciate my work!

Since this Group Build is still going on, I may re-enter it with a 1/72 scale French Soumua tank in German markings. I had bought two so that I could make one French, and one German (captured). The French one is built. This gives me a great chance to build the other one.

What say you rebel? Wink [;)]
