                        Yeah I will need to touch up a few areas on the frames and repaint the sight then its off to paint the tail red and the wings yellow.

                        hi yas all,
                        Finally got to do some work on the La-7 (While a half a dozen other projects dry).
                        It is Gavia's La-7 and a pretty neat kit. Comes with a resin conversion for the 3 20mm nose and PE fret. The detail in the cockpit is soft and the PE really helps it
                        (as well as some odds and ends).
                        I am sorry about te slightly blurry pict - too many objects for proper auto focus
                        it'll be different when I get the pit painted.
                        3d modelling is an option a true mental excercise in frusrtation

                        What is it with yellow and white? I actually avoid schemes that call for them due to the frustration level...then the saw of the cleats get broken out and the work bench does not look so clean!!!

                        Just a Quick peek at my progress so far. Tamiya 1/72 Bell X1. Pretty much a shake and bake from the looks of it...


                        The cockpit prior to install. This kit could make a detailer real happy...lots of room for improvements.


                        Pit in and waiting for the other half to come up.

                        well the Devastator is in the paint shop but I got photo's of it before it went in but I will post them after I get photo's of it coming out of the paint shop and post both sets.

                        I am definitely absolutely still in but I am going to change to a Yak-7D just to mix it up a bit since there is a P-40 already in here. Anbd that way I will use the Curtis for the P-40 GB. Not fair to expect to be able to have it apply for both.

                        Wow, the builds are really looking great!
                        The He-111 that I'm working on is proving to be a bear to assememble! I just got the wings and tailplanes on tonight, makes me remember why I love this hobbie in the first place. Cool [8D] I'll try and post some progress pictures as soon as I can. Good luck everyone!!

                        Wow, that looks like a great kit. There's a lot of detail there for an ootb kit. You've definitely done justice to a kit I'm going to have to try. Again, beautifull work, cant' wait to see the rest of the build.

                        There has been some really great work shown since I last posted. Congrats to all. I have finished the engine and now have to mount the guns on the instrument panel and close up the fuselage. Then I can really go to town as most of the delicate work is done. Here is a couple more photos.

                        Just a reminder to all this is for any type of aircraft, military civilian and experimental is use from 1940 to 1949 OOTB as per IPMS guideline...Please make every effort to adhere to that guideline or Kremps will have to make a midnight callAngry [:(!]

                        The Moderator of each GB sets the rules on displaying the GB Badge. For this one, I think as soon as you join you can start displaying.
