OK, roadkill, count me in on this one. I have the Airfix 1/72 kit and Cutting Edge decals. I'm not sure if I'll go for the featherless exhaust or not because I'm leaning toward the 28 BW in the old gray/green scheme.

Okay Will, AM = After Market - resin and the such PE = Photo Etch - pretty much self explanatory. No badge yet, we'll see what develops before January. There is no problem with not having a kit right now. Thats why I gave such a long lead in for this was to give everybody time to gather the stuff t hey need.
Try these links and see if they have anything you want:
squadron.com
greatmodels.com
meteorprod.com
eduard.cz

I'll add more as I find them.

Bstrump, glad to have you on board for this one. Did you know the Airfix kit is listed on great models as a collectors kit?

Glad to be on board. You know, I just saw that the other day and couldn't really believe it. I swear I saw on the Airfix site that the kit was still listed. Anyhow, I got mine fairly cheap on ebay a while back.
I've sort of got an update already. I went ahead and ordered the featherless exhausts from Cutting Edge because the ones in the Airfix kit really suck. So, in order to do my scheme of choice, I'll actually have to add feathers to them! Am I crazy or what?! I may end up changing schemes...

Hmmm... I'm glad to see someone thought of this. Funny, I just sold one of the 4 1/48th kits I have of this a/c.
I can't commit fully, although I want to. I'm expecting my second trip to Iraq sometime in that time frame. I've done a fair amount of research & work on the 1/48th kit, so if I can help anyone, I'll be glad to.
I wish everyone great success with this GB.

Hhmmm...I've got a 1/48 Bone that I picked up for 1/2 price at Hobby Lobby, and I ordered & recieved the PE and featherless exhausts for it, too. If I'm not deployed in Jan, and I can actually finish the two GBs I'm in (one is woefully overdue, too) by then, I'll be in. I've got to get this one done because the box is too big for the shelf and it's taking up too much room against the wall! I'll have to figure out what scheme I want to go with, did the Bones have the Euro I scheme at any time?
A day in the Corps is like a day on the farm; every meal is a banquet, every paycheck a fortune, every formation a parade... The Marine Corps is a department of the Navy? Yeah...The Men's Department.

The three color camo was not Euro 1, but the Strategic camo scheme. The B-1s had two shades of grey (Gunship & Euro 1) & one green shade (Green drab), while the Euro 1 scheme is the SEA scheme with the same two shades of green, but the tan areas were replaced with Euro grey.

That's good news! I'm really looking forward to this one. BTW, the resin exhaust cans arrrived from Meteor a few days ago and these things are incredible works of art. It would be a shame to cover up all that detail with turkey feathers. So, I'm going to do mine in the overall gray scheme as the 9BMS "Bad To The B-One"

I was playing around with Microsoft Picture It 9 and trying to design a badge for our GB. This what my imagination has come up with:

What do you think, roadkill? Let me know what improvements I need to make, if any.

If everyone likes it and wants to use it, all I ask is that you host on your own Photobucket account.

Sign - Welcome [#welcome]fighterguru. The official start date is 1-1. The reason being with the expense of the 1/48 Bone and the 1/72 being oop this will give people time to gather things up.
