wow, you guys catch on fast.  NEway, reb, i thought that thing was out of gas, remember?  and its not like you can pop down to K-mart and pic up a few crates of 75mm rounds.  I think you're just gonna hop in it and sit there for a while......My 2 cents [2c]

so Walmart is part of the black marketWink [;)]

What do you think of the new system of a down Cd? Its alot different than their last one. Not bad though. Song #9 is the best! Terra Cotta pie! lol.

Tanky, I forgot, were building just a drivers compartment or a turret interior with the drivers compartment?

BTW, how are fruils? are they worth the money?

O, my football team just lost the division semifinals, 34-0 in the pouring rain (so depressing). It was far away so I didnt go, but I saw on the news that one of our running backs was playing QB. hmmm, thats deffinetly interesting. Well, I can hope for next year.

Just the driver's compartment, reb. The turret interior as well is a bit too crazy even for this project I think. As for the friuls, they're always worth the money.Wink [;)] So much better than the kit tracks.

its in your profile, very bottom under your post count.  and another thing, the only way we can reply to the topic is using the reply button on the last post right?

Ok heres what the Dinn looks like in the box http://i31.photobucket.com/albums/c353/Char-88/IMG_0308.jpg

To make the Dinn AWACS  I have to build a rader heres my simple plans http://i31.photobucket.com/albums/c353/Char-88/IMG_0307.jpg I have to cut off some parts and build the rader up from sheet plastic.

no progress here...although if i didnt have this much hw and all the stuff i had to do for my b-day (17!!!) i wouldve worked on it a lot! that FSM really inspired me to work on something.....

reb- new SOAD is freakin sweet!!!! yea  i love the entrie album!! but i especially like: "Kill rock n roll", "holy mountains" "vicinity of obcenity" "she's like heroin" and "soldier side!" -its soo cool!

-the more we learn about the civil war, the more i want to build a dio on it... do you guys know any companies or kits that have so union or confederate soldier in action (1/35)?

shenandoah miniatures makes them in 1/32 (54mm). Not sure any body makes them in 1/35. These are supposed to be excellent figs. I want to get some myself.

http://www.shenandoahmin.com/

I haven't got an FSM mag in forever. Maybe I'll take a road trip out the NSLHS and see the dio.

painting on my stug is done. now I need to paint the tools and paint chips etc.

The only sad thing it only took me one year to build all it up. Heres just my unbuilt Gundam kits http://i31.photobucket.com/albums/c353/Char-88/ee065527.jpg theres aircraft above the shelf 90 of those I think and a B-29 under the shelf with lots of figure kits about 30 and cars 4, armor 6 and more figures to the right that you cant see.

Hey, I can actually reply, but I'm at school now, so it still may not work at home. Here's my progress on my ship, 1/700th USS Cowpens. Those are a lot of gundam kits, will you ever build them all?

These things are tiny!

it took me longer to build up what i got now.  half of what i got - probably more like 40%- of what i have is AM stuff- german equipment, helmets with liners, turned barrels, PE detail sets, conversion parts, specialty items, stuff like that.  after that its figures, small field pieces, armor, aircraft, a couple ships too.  i got a load of small metal soldiers that i should paint up at some point, if for nothing else that i can give them to my little cousin.  i got a box of em though, and theyre all white metal or lead.

well I think Im the first one to say it, but I hate having a big stash. It just reminds me of wasted money. I haven't bought a new kit since like June and I am happy. Unfortunately my progress is so slow it wouldn't have mattered. But I dont plan on buying any new kits until I have no more left to build. Besides, I'm sure to get some for christmas.

When your home schooled, do you have to get up at a certain time? I've been late to 1st period by at least 5 minutes almost every day for a few weeks now. And I just found out my 1st period teacher takes off points whe tardy. It's US history and I have a c+ because of it. That should be my best class! Not fair, just cause I can't wake up!Big Smile [:D]

i can barely get up at six.  course i go to bed way too late anyway.

see reb, thats why i started picking up AM parts.  too many other kits.

PROGRESS ON BUNKER!: yeah, ive actually done some stuff.  the turret is attached.  the seam can be seen but its not too obvious so im letting it slide (its too ahrd to get at)  i picked up some preiser figs if i havent told ya, and i pulled a frankenstein with the one so hes coming out of the bunker surrendering.  not so sure about the one i want dead, hes a bit more difficult.  also- came up with simple way of barbed wire for the scale.  i saw on one of the other forums a method for 1/35, by wrapping two wires together and making the barbs by further wrapping.  i just folded over a length of fine solder (finest i had) twisted it to the right twist, and wrapped it around a pen of sufficient diameter.  i left off the barbs simply because theyd be too small to see in 1/72/87, at least in my view.  looks pretty good.  the veneer around the outside is geetting finished.  i havent taken off the resin german equipment for fear of loosing or breaking it (its fine).  so thats it for now.

I depsise having a stash also. It makes me too prone to wanting to drop what I'm building and pick up a new project. I only have  a stash of around 40 counting all my AM stuff though...
