That looks really good.  've gotten alot more done on my panzer I and will post pics soon.  I'm also adding a Fw-190A-8 to this build.

which fw 190 kit? the revll one? i'm a big fan of the 1/72 revell kit. i think it's awesome.

This is just a staller till I break out my other kit for this GB. ie i dont know what else im going to build.

what kit is that? looks remarkably like the motor cycle that comes in the andrea freedom's ride kit.

It's the one that comes in Tamiya's King Tiger Ardennes.  BUt they have a seperate kit for motorcycle that looks like this.

That's ummm, progress there sergei. Progress indeed. Friulmodel tracks do tend to have a proclivity towards "rocking" as you say.

hey guys, been off a bit lately as well.  i gotta get off my butt and do stuff.  my christmas was a mixed bag.  lots of good, some really crappy bad.  ill tell ya when i get pics posted

ok, heres my primary snag for x-mas.  BoB DVDs set, fightclub DVD, Royal Tanenbaums, an excellent map book showing the U.S. army's movement from D-Day, Normandy to the surrender of Germany (this thing isn't based off of actual maps, i have a book like that.  its based off of such maps and historical documents, so that it gives troop movements on days, dates of battles, german defenses and positions along with counterattacks, along with positions of individual units.  I was able to figure out the approximate locale of Easy Company.), another book, more like something for school research on D-Day, with reproductions of historical documents (maps, resistance communicae, etc.) to go with a cornicopia (yeah im being smart..  not sure if i spelled that right though.) of extra details in the book itself and CD; two games, both are sweet BF2, and No Surrender: Battle of the Bulge ( 3D RTS game) neither work of course, because thats the tradition on the computers at my house.  not even sure if they ever will too.  for a computer that was brand new in June it sure isnt holding up to new games from this year.  candy as well.  heres a pic:

i also got a gift card to borders, so i picked up System of a Down (Mesmerize and Hypnotize) and Rammstien: Live aus Berlin CD's (YEEEEEESSSSS!!!!!!).  i also got some money, so iwas finally able to pick up a german 105mm howitzer, the LeFH18.  ive wanted one for a while now.  got the AFV kit.  nice:

so ive been workin on some of the figs of the german garrison for the bunker.  i picked up a set of preiser figs and mig products resin weapons set, which I'm gonna use.  the figs are actually of a group of germans at rest, so I had to alter them a bit.  still, they were the closest and most useful set I could find for this.  the one I ahve ready and primed is surrendering, coming out of the bunker, the other I'm working on is dead.  I may have to scratch build an arm for him:

I've got that kit.  real nice and it cant be beat for only 8 bucks.   It's the tamiya kit.  Very nice one. In fact, it is almost done as I worked on it almost non stop last night.

those are too small for conversion work, you're insane!!!

The AFV club 105 is supposed to be a good kit. I've had it in my stash since last christmas and have been thinking about the dio for it ever since. I want to do the scene from BOB, but that will take a long time.

ive thought about it too.  but since everybody seems to have a BoB scene in mind, and that is so common, i figure i might do it with fallschrimjaegers.  i got a french war mag thats got some pics of the green devils manning one.

my progress- yesterday, went to bruno's barber shop (the polish one) and did some "research" and a haircut cuz i was sorta feeling like i had a hat on all the time...anywho...to pass the time in the chair i was lookin around (much to the annoyance to the barber trying to cut my hair) and lookin at the seats, and all the 'furniture' in it.....so now i have enough info to finnish it..so i built a new and improved barber shop seat....when your building one you really stop and think that it looks like a pretty crazy contraption... so basically i finnished the entire barber shop, looks awesome....too bad i have to pile it on with rubble now (its right under the big hole where the bomb hit)

tried to work on putting some windows in, but after giving up on trying to build one i saw in my osprey modeling (WWII dio building) i now know how to build one....but thats too much work for now im so lazy...

yeah, reb nice build, I didnt notice the pics before.  looks excellent man, really like the paint job.  the way you wore off the balkan krueze in the one shot looks great.  never thought of that. 

heres a pic of the mage in the mag i got.  its a french mag interestingly, whichs says that theres a lot more interest in that history over there than here, (ive never seen this kind of quality mag in the US).  my rough translation is that each fallschrimjaeger korps and division included one regiment of artillery.   The piece pictured there is indeed an leFH.18 105mm gun, though it has the flash diminisher (ive checked and the kit just doesnt include it) and is very well camouflaged. 

interesting. Does the mag say where the pic is?  I think the muzzle brake was added to the late versions so possibly normandy?

the article's about the germna paras in normandy actually, the Green Devils.  got a lot of great pics in it too.  not too many combat, but unifroms, camo, position, even scenes that you could make into dios.  theres one of a german MG gunner in a fox hole on a hedgerow, cleaning his P-38 that just looks right.  BTW- it says that they also had pak 40's, and theres a pic of that too (note: they took out 250 enemy vehicles in combat in Normandy).

been working on a base for a a car guy in my club, a dirt racetrack.  so i havent been do much work on the bunker.  lately

not much progress on my sdkfz 251, actually no progress....been working on my USS Cole model, cuz i just saw it in the back of my collection, and i promised myself that i would fix it up cuz i have a really cool base for it, and i wanna make it into a USS Cole memorial thing....i still need to find a way to write all the names of the people who died on the base...

i think ill add the Cole to this GB too....since im getting into it... so far i took off a lot of the rails i had on there and refitted them, as well as cleaned up the ugly blobs of super glue on my first attempts, i did that one most of the first superstructure, and now im working on the second one. i also have to put putty on a lot of holes in the kit, and the poor fits, and also on the hull, which had these HUGE rivets! and then i need to repaint some areas, and it shouldnt take very long.....and besides i need a little break from building all that furniture in the barber shop, as well as all of it for the entire building!
