Ahh, red sox fans, they're cool. As long as they aint yankee fans. Although, I like the yaknkees and giants better this year. Why, they all had bad seasons!Big Smile [:D]

My money is going to, probably the Cardinals. The padres will lose if they go, just like last time. Not sure about clevland, chicago and the a's. Id like to see the a's though, they have been trieing for the past 3 years now.

progress, chipped up some road wheels. (I took some chunks out of the rubber)

The building I ordered for my dio is now OOP. So I will see what I can do about it.

Another baseball debate, and it's always about the same two teams. I don't watch baseball, but I do watch ESPN. I don't think either team is going to win the world series this year.

wow!!! what's all this about not liking the yankees?!!!!! Come on y'all are losers if you don't like the yankees. And if you like the red sox you are an impurity. Laugh [(-D]Mischief [:-,]. Matt, it's the best I could do on such short notice OK?? Cut me a little slack. A lot of slack. Enough slack to cover my description. lol. Besides the complete vaguness it is an accurate description.... just need to set up one of those walls with the height measurements on it at my bus stop and we'll be compltely good to go. LOL. Tongue [:P]

Tom!! good to see you're reading this!! Feel free to stop in every once in a while even though you ain't no young gun.

Progress today amounts to 0. But I do hope to get siginificant amounts of work done on my model kits. Big Smile [:D]Laugh [(-D]

In other news I have 5 quizzes today, much much homework and very difficult stuff to do for English and AP Physics which is the hardest class ever. And it's kinda weird. "Everyone's like hey, sup I'm a senior, and I'm like uhhh sophomore here. yeah. anyway. I hate school. Sometimes I -------- never mind.

I haven't eaten all day, and I must go eat before putting meine nose to der grindstone and finsihing my work before going to play 2 hours of tennis. fun day, mates, fun day...

Why dont you start the process by posting a pic of yourself nick?
Gringe, I think that kit would be cool to build. No one has probably ever seen a pic of it, so they wont know if you screw up or not, and mine did come with directions and a decal sheet that looks like its 20 years old

German armor = yuck![:0] Never heard of such a horrible thing!!!!!! German armor is the shiznit. This coming from a guy who has 1 1/72 t-34 and 2 allied pieces (a sherman and 105mm. I had a brit car but I had to make it German. Big Smile [:D]
you must be blind?Tongue [:P]

I noticed the giants in your sig. now that, yuck! yankees, yuck. Angels...yay, a's, booooo. lol.
You guys probably think I like the angles just cause they won the WS. Not true. My dads friend was on the angles when I was little and the angles were my little league team name for the first 4 years of my baseball career. Been a fan damn near all my life!Approve [^] Of course, they do good in the beginning of the year, but in the end, when they need to do better, they choke and the a's keep winning. errrrrr.

what ya gonna do tanky?Wink [;)]

how can you not ahve seen dodgeball!?! its an amazing movie. (i wouldnt recommend it for buying) its one of the funniest Censored [censored] things i saw recently

BTW- great description of her buddy, ' sort of kinda dirty blonde like if you mixed 50/50 of brunette and blonde and got a color somewhere between the two' why youve described only any one of the 30 million teenage girls who look like that....

scer- yeah, alan makes a kit of it, but like reb said its sort of a problematic piece. i got it btw. im doing my own conversion though, using tamiyas marder III and a hodge podge of scratchbuilt stuff, AM, and an italeri or tristar(?) flak 38. im using the alan kit only for reference in some areas. still, it looks like an easy build if thats what you're looking for

that t-38 kit, JUNK IT!!!!!!! ive got the same one. its a piece of crap, make sure you got instructions cuz i didnt. waht a piece of crap that was. use it for testing out techniques or stuff......or as a toy......or for airsoft target practice

reb- sucks for youTongue [:P]Big Smile [:D]Laugh [(-D]

Alan makes a Flakpanzer 38 but from what I hear it is awful. Thanks an interesting tank scer, and very small. I have an RPM polish tanket and was stunned when I saw how big the pieces were, almost like 1/72.

My german teacher, this is a good story I swearWink [;)]
He gave us a test. 90% of the class got a d or lower (I believe I missed every question except oneDunce [D)]My friend had special permission to take his test home. He called his Grandma who was born and raised in Germany for help, she told him the answers and he recieved an F on the test. My teacher showed him the stuff that was wrong. So now I have confirmation that my teacher has no Idea what hes doing. Im more inclined to believe the german native rather than him. This sucks, even if I really tried I still wont be able to speak german cause of him. Gash darn it.

What company makes one of those Flakpanzers gringe? I got a very weird kit at my LHS yesterday. It is Moldovan made, a T-38 amphibious tank, about the size of my Dingo car. Another weird thing is that the roadwheels and springs stuff comes pre assembled on the sprue.

Angry [:(!] LOL. Matt you are so lucky you live up in der boondocks there!! If I didn't have a bout 15 quizzes this week I'd come up there and (the rest has been censored by me just in case.) I'll leave it up to your imagination to decidede what I'd do to you...

I haven't even seen dodgeball... Oh, and BTW just in case you're wondering the hot girl who lives down the street does not have purple hair- t's a more "original" color as Matt so aptly put it. Wink [;)] It's that kinda dirty blonde that looks like someone took some light brown hair and mixed it 50/50 with some blonde hair... if you have any idea what i'm talking about...

tanky, don't worry i know the guy in person. besides i think he left by personal objection, not because of being locked out. i dont know how i wouldve handled a prob like what i was facing there...

reb, thanks a lot man. the stug is lookin fine my friend!! i ve encountered the same kinda mistake on the tracks before too. i just put um on, and only later do i realize that theyre backwards...

scer, thanks. im building it for the 12SS GB. they werent just used in normandy though. those things saw action on all the fronts in Europe practically. Italy, Normandy, East Front, a few were even left for the battle of the bulge...

guys- for resin, just take a cup (an old food container preferably) fill it with water, and while you're sanding, just dip the piece in that. or, try brushing the area with a brush between sandings. just make sure what you're sanding with can survive water. some stuff will fall apart. if you're gonna use a dremel tool, put on some old crappy clothes and do it outside wearing goggles and a mask. the kind that go on with rubber bands works fine. you're gonna have to have you're clothes washed and take a shower right after though, otherwise youll track it through the whole house.

scer, The stug being later in production I guess they just took those things off, they are clearly visible.

Yep, they're indies. This is me 3rd attempt at them, I think Im finally getting the hang of it. I glued them in 2 halves, and upper and a lower. They were then joined around the sprocket but I left the one of the links unconnected as to allow me to take them off. Just some patience I guess.

When you are sanding the resin what kind of mask do you use? Im afraid to start a resin fig I have because I dont want to have a mask that is defective. Will the one I use for airbrushing work you think?

scer, the 222 is a great kit but it badly needs an interior. If you want the hatches open you might want to consider scratching a basic interior.

Ok, here I am as of now.

Tracks all done

and this one was a life saver, the tracks on the left were upside down!!!! Had to fix that!

with a little modification I got the drum mag in for better accuracy

still need the PE screens

added some canteens and mess kits

and finally, added some spare tracks because I could have any left ofer drilled out tracks, I was determined to use them all! :)

Next I will take som chunks out of the road wheels and possibly add a tarp.
