Well lads it’s the 28th here in Aus (actually it's the 1st now because it's 12:02am) and I've spent a happy evening assembling the upper hull and turret of my Sherman. There's really not much to it and I should have the whole kit assembled for painting in a day or so. Most of the time will be spent on cleaning up the road wheels and assembling the bogies. I'll post some pics soon. Cheers
The Italians are preparing their C.202's to defend their supply lines bring on the RAF !!!
If my OOB C.202 Folgore is completed quickly the Luftwaffe may send a Ju88-C-6 into the fray
Hey Solid, I came up with those same site, however you did have one I did not have. That intell did help me with my color choice. A big thanks from Texas.
That's some awesome research you've done there Gera, nice job. I should have remembered that the Tamiya Mk.VI comes in a Med camo OOB, oh well nice pickup anyway. Well only a couple of days to go and the Sherman is already to rock and roll. This is going to be straight out of the box so I'm hoping I should be able to turn it around pretty quickly, fingers crossed. Cheers
For Thad....................

Preparing Beaufighters to launch an attack on shipping that has been spotted attempting to bring fuel and ammo to Rommel's Afrika Corps. We must not let the supplies get through!
Gera, can you add me to the list.
I'm still one of the undecided!
Karl
Currently on the bench: AZ Models 1/72 Mig 17PF
Ok.........I think I have the participant's list updated so please check the first page and verify I got you in OK....
Gera, put me down for a Beaufighter but Im have a hard time finding ref pics of one in the Mediterranean. Any hepl is welcome
Gera, I seem to have been forgotten from the list
My build is a Tamiya 1/48 M4A1 Sherman from the 2nd AD Operation Husky.
Dave.....
Thank you for the tip, I just did place the list on the first page.....
Everyone. Please notice that I changed the badge of the GB, the prevous one was to largesorry for the inconvinience...
I am right now in between the Fiat BR-20 or the Savoia Machetti SM-85. This last one was a Flop!!!!.It was an Italian dive bomber. Only 36 of them were built and flew in only one mission to bomb a convoy. They did not find it and all aircraft were grounded for the rest of the war!!!!...strange looking twin........interesting!!...Hummm, Hummmm.
Gera: it would be best if the participant list went on the first post with the group build's discription and rules so that someone interested in the GB can see what else is being built and who is participating all in the same place. This is easily done by clicking on the edit button on the bar above that particular post.
Great badge by the way!
