Dave I'm not sure wether to go with the brown spotted cammo or to try the"smoke ring" cammo i heard that there are actually smoke ring decals but im not sure how cheesey they may look. I have a few color photos from WWII and i will be looking them over while deciding

Well i got off to a roaring start shook the box and an almost complete Folgore popped out I mean I sat down spent about 4 hours and all thats left is the landing gear, canopy, antennas, paint and decals i highly reccomend this kit it is the Hasegawa 1/48 Macchi C.202 Folgore kit#01932 I haven't had to fill any major gaps and the fit is almost perfect i had to fiddle with the wing rear edge to fuselage seam  but the upper wing to fuselage seam falls right along a panel line  and i have a hairline gap on the fuselage spine just behind the cockpit but it's about a 1/4 inch long so a drop of  gap filling Cya glue will make it disappear i hope to have some pics next week

Well lads it’s the 28th here in Aus (actually it's the 1st now because it's 12:02am) and I've spent a happy evening assembling the upper hull and turret of my Sherman.  There's really not much to it and I should have the whole kit assembled for painting in a day or so.  Most of the time will be spent on cleaning up the road wheels and assembling the bogies.  I'll post some pics soon.

Cheers

The Italians are preparing their C.202's to defend their supply lines bring on the RAF !!!

If my OOB C.202 Folgore is completed quickly the Luftwaffe may send a Ju88-C-6 into the fray

That's some awesome research you've done there Gera, nice job.  I should have remembered that the Tamiya Mk.VI comes in a Med camo OOB, oh well nice pickup anyway.

Well only a couple of days to go and the Sherman is already to rock and roll.  This is going to be straight out of the box so I'm hoping I should be able to turn it around pretty quickly, fingers crossed.

Cheers

Dave.....

Thank you for the tip, I just did place the list on the first page.....

Everyone. Please notice that I changed the badge of the GB, the prevous one was to large
sorry for the inconvinience...

I am right now in between the Fiat BR-20 or the Savoia Machetti SM-85. This last one was a Flop!!!!.It was an Italian dive bomber. Only 36 of them were built and flew in only one mission to bomb a convoy. They did not find it and all aircraft were grounded for the rest of the war!!!!...strange looking twin........interesting!!...Hummm, Hummmm.

Gera:  it would be best if the participant list went on the first post with the group build's discription and rules so that someone interested in the GB can see what else is being built and who is participating all in the same place.  This is easily done by clicking on the edit button on the bar above that particular post. Smile [:)]

Great badge by the way!  Thumbs Up [tup]

Solid I'm afraid you got me wrong on this one: the Schnellboat is for the Battle of the Atlantic GB, for this GB I'll do a 1/400 Type VIIC U-Boat, U-565 with a special camo scheme (see my last post).
