Allied Aircraft in Vietnam GB 1st of Feb 07 till 1st of Feb 08

Looking good Wiccan Warrior. I was able to get some work done on my Phantom. Cockpit is complete. OOB Monogram I decided to save my True Details cockpit for one of my Hasegawa kits. It's going to be built as Boots Blesse's A/C at DaNang 1967.

 Got started on the Cessna this week.  That is a small plane.  I also dug out some 'yet to be completed' aircraft that I'll show off here for all to critique; a F-4, A-4, A-6, A-7  I am leaning towards making them all Navy, maybe from the same aircraft carrier.

Will try to post a photo or two later when the camera returns (at a birthday party for most of the day).

Kenny, I  don't think Will will mind.

He'll have a bit to catch up on when he does remember though.

It reminds me of a helicopter pilot's helmet that flew me into a fire. On the back of his helmet he had a broken helicopter inside a red circle with a line through it and in block letters below that Crashing Sucks. I wasn't sure if I should feel comfortable that he was against crashing or be concerned that he might have more experience with aerial mishaps than most.

Wiccan nice job on the cockpit, I can't believe how much the seat belts add to it.

I got the pit painted up - I really need the pratice in this area but it turned out OK. Some shots:

 I still need to give it a wash & do some highlighting.

I've just started building a 1/32 Revell UH-1H il be adding crew and cobra company seats and guns, if that breaks the rules let me know

Nice work on the Huskie! I got some done on the BearCat. I'm using a basic P.E. set to spruce it up a little. Some pics:

Here is the cockpit for my HH-43, the cobra company kit offers a huge improvement in detail here as the kit cockpit was pretty minimal. Still needs a touch more detailing but almost done here.

I just checked Will's details and he hasn't been on this site since the 13th.

I know Will is a School student and therefore maybe tied up with the new school year.

I'm sure you'll be added to the title page in no time at all and from what I can see your build all seem to fit the bill.

I'm running a little behind time as the model I was suposed to have done for Christmas only just got finished. I'm now working on another build for he south pacific group build. I think it'll be about a month before I start work on my F-105. I have ordered my cockpit and I'll have to wait for that to turn up.

Well this is what I've got done so far.   Actually I have at least cleaned up some of the parts and futured the glass.

I'm doing the 1/32 Testor's HH-43 with the Cobra company detail set. I got the box open last night, got the resin into the blech wite and started cleaning up a few pieces. I've built this kit once before OOB, the detail kit is going to be a big improvement since the kit interior is pretty minimal. 

The HH-43 is not nearly as well known as the HH-3 Jolly Green but it was the first SAR helo in Vietnam, had the most rescues during the war, had the record for the fastest rescue (1 minute, 30 seconds) and was the last SAR helo to leave.
