Yes, that's the kit turret.  Academy got (rightly) questioned about the dimensions of it.  That slope near the commander's cupola is kinda weird, eh?

Thanks for the kind words guys, I was really worried about posting the pictures, the build itself was awful especially the dozer blade.

I've got a couple of figures painted up ready to add to a dio using the Sherman.

 Yes, exactly what I noticed. Possibly the kit may show up at shows and such at prices that make it a "parts kit", since the HVSS is pretty good......
