Off to a great start with this one Bob...there's something just mean-looking about the Centauro. Probably has to do with the massive size added to the wheeled/squat look that it has vs. a regular tank's lines. Looking forward to seeing you bring this one to life. Beer

Bob, Is that the sound of the assembly line spooling up? I like the looks of this beast and I will most certainly be following it. I think my son will as well as this is the next kit in his queue. Dave

Who needs meds when you have PE?  Nice work on the PE by the way.  Am I imagining things or does this beast have two drive trains?  Keep up the solid work brother.

Cheers

Those headlight guards look scary. How were they to assemble?

Dave - Believe me when I tell you I needed meds to get through some of this PE stuff.  A problem exists with Trump PE.  Certain PE parts are not the correct size..........................GREAT!

Tony - Sorry bud, I will get a tracked thingy going soon, maybe even an SPG  Big Smile

Guney - thanks bud

Terry - I agree, although there are some minor issues here and there, for the most part its a fall together kit. Thanks for the ref pictures, they have come in real handy and I remember your build well and its a beauty, I remember cause I was in that GB as well and did the LUCHS II.

Eric - I will say that they were ()*#$)_(*&_*$_)@(&)&($)(*&_%@_()$&*_)(*#_)*......   Hows that..............LOL

I managed to get some more done:

Hull is complete minus the light guards cause I am still trying to figure out why on Gods green earth the PE parts are not large enough to accomodate a correct fit:

Turret is done:

I am searching for a metal barrel for this beast becase the kit one really sucks.  Paint may be going on this without it................LOL

More to come

Exceptionally clean build, my congratulions to you.  To my eye it looks like it could benefit from an overall umber wash and a burnt umber pin wash followed by light dry brushing to bring out more of your great details, but that's just me. Toast

Pat - thank you.  The pictures dont show the pre shading that was done but looking at it in the flesh there is a wash and shading detail.

Nate - thans buddy

Rob - I used the kit barrel, took about an hour to get it to where it looked right.  All I can say is that there was a LOT of sanding involved and Mr Surfacer 500

Anthony - thank you

Outstanding and very clean work! Yes  I just love this because the turret/gun just look way too big for its body.  I am afraid it is cleaner than my kitchen floor so I guess it is time to mop the kitchen floor.  Thanks for the reminder! LOL  Stay away from those wingy thing... I may be deaf but I have been hearing an elephant calling out your names.  Nah, just go for whatever you are in mood for just like food we cook to eat!

Andy - LMAO, thanks buddy I really needed that.  Dont worry no wingy thing for the next build.  You will be quite suprised.

Eric - LOL, I know I usually beat them up.  I wanted a nice clean factory fresh look.  I found some photos online and witht he exception if a little dried mud on the tires they were all clean.  Heck I saw a picture of one ion Afghanistan and not a spec of dust on it..........LOL

Yes, it's  .............

So, in an effort to help.

Only thing I can see that might be wrong (or the way it's positioned) would be the alignment of the second wheel from the front.

OOPS, did I say that?
