M1Carbine

I found some photos online and witht he exception if a little dried mud on the tires they were all clean.  Heck I saw a picture of one ion Afghanistan and not a spec of dust on it..........LOL

Bob

I agree with you here, Bob. I usually go in for the just-finished-racing look Whistling but this vehicle is usually clean when I've seen it. It seems to operate more on the roads from what I've seen/

I love this vehicle, and you've done a really nice job on it--good for you for sticking with the PE and laboring through it to this very complimentary finish! Very nicely done!

I keep saying it, but I've got to get me one of these! Stick out tongue

Hi, Bob, excellent finish. I love it. I found it hard to be restrained as I love vehicles battered. Excellent work and excellent finish.

Bob,

Very well done brother.  I like the restrained weathering on this beastie.  Now if I could just get one of these in a 1:1 commuter.  Wink    I'll shoot some dates to you for the tree toot.  It's been crazy busy down here.  Time for a trip.

Cheers

Dave

very nice. i have 2 versions in the stash and am working on spanish VRC-105. one thing i learned from LAV-III build is don't put all the fiddly stuff on, like lights and handles and antenna, until all the big pieces are together, filled and sanded. the only trouble to date (haven't put mirrors, lights, pe, etc on yet) was the two hull strips with running lights. according to the painting they stick straight out but mine point slightly down like yours. i filled the gap with multiple runs of white glue and i doubt anyone other than a CENTAURO builder will notice. i will be playing with the barrel tonight. i do wish the barrel clamp could have been clamped around the barrel as an option.
