Tamiya Marder III. Finished
Posted by terry35 on Saturday, April 16, 2011 7:32 PM

Well I done this ome for Eric's GB, panzer jagers. I must say that it is a vehicle that I have loved  since I seen one years ago at Euro Militare and when Tamiya brought it out i never bought one. I just dont really like Tamiya, its those rubber tracks. I did get one after seeing Bill's treatment of one some time back. Well I decided on a very patchy camo as I intended to do a very worn winter camo finish but I may not have time before my comps in may as I really need to get back to my LWS.

Well on with the pics.

I must apologise for such a disorganised post but its 2am and I am exhausted from a really tough working week.

Wow!

What a great job! The cammo is great, the chipping is very effctive, the woodgrain effect is perfect and the muffler is superb. The fact that it's 1/48 makes it all the better as I built this kit in 1/35 and found it 'tight' when it came to detailing!

Is there a camera malfunction? Some crisp and clear shots like the one of the cleaning rods would be great to see Yes

Top work!

Nice job there Terry. That chipping on the seats and the rail above the gun look so realistic, and love the finish on the cleaning rods. Yes

I hate Tamiya tracks as well. I just replace them with Fruils, expensive but well worth it.

I am a Norfolk man and i glory in being so
