Oh I'm sure that there's a lot of gunners out there that would like to have "Lady Gaga" on their tubes. Tongue Tied

Thanks,

Hun Hunter

I got a chuckle out of the Transformer logo on that Stryker. I wonder if there are some tooling around with 80's GI Joe logos, that thought of that makes me smile.

When I was stationed in Germany in the 80s, you tended to fall behind stateside fads by at least a couple of years. I had never heard of a cartoon called Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles before; I didn't watch cartoons because I didn't have kids and it wasn't shown on AFN, which was the only channel we got on base.

One of the platoons had the four tanks named after the turtle characters. I just figured the platoon leader was a renaissance man or such. It wasn't until the live action movie was being previewed at the theater that I made the connection.

The Canadians took this cartoon thing one step farther; Operation Timis Preem, or Op Timis Preem for short. http://www.ctv.ca/CTVNews/TopStories/20080825/vehicle_bomb_080825/

Dunno, if it had two big turrets I'd be tempted to paint 'Dolly Parton' on it though...
