I don't but my buddy does, often in my presence. Funny to see a 26 year old playing with a half completed model like a 6 year old.

There are some that call me... Nash

I usually look at my models specially the new built to ask myself , " Was this a good built?, Am I happy with it?, What modelling lesson (mistake) did I learn from this model? I do this to all my models.

Yes but my sounds vary.... I can do the crump of mortar and arty impacts very well, but still have not mastered the ripping "fart" sound of the GAU-8

I'm glad I'm not the only one who does this - it's inevitable that we will eventually start 'playing with our tanks'.

I can't say that I've ever gone "rat-a-tat-tat" to simulate the noise of an MG, I do more of a blowy sort of sound that is very effective.

Occasionaly I get one of my builds out of my cabinet to either admire or to make adjustments to. When I do this I HAVE to put it down and mimic the muzzle blast of the main gun a few times - again by making a blowly sort of rumbly boom noise (with my mouth, for the record).

I think my behaviour is acceptable being a massive fan of armour and all army type gun things that go BANG. Like I say, it's inevitable that this sort of behaviour will start sooner or later.

I'm normal Stick out tongue

Puhhh-lease... I'm more likely to be making propeller/engine noises as my aircraft are making low passes over the kitchen table. Embarrassed

DEAR GOD.....when are you guys gonna get yourself a real workbench???!! Wink

When we move into "the next house"...

Although I do have a crawl-space that's used for storage. (Concrete floor, 4-foot ceiling) I could section off part of it for use as my modeling bunker. I'd have to do everythingcross-legged, yoga-style though.

Think about buying in the USA.....house values over here are dropping like a proverbial rock.

Buy a house just over the border in Maine near P-38  and commute.

Hopefully, USA house prices will rebound and you can make a profit.

OTOH.....USA house values may not rebound until your daughter is into retirement.

YOGA?

If it's an AFV with a radial engine in it you can still make airplane noises, I know I do.

if it's an airplane, I'll fly it around making sounds. If its an AFV i will just make some sounds.

You have my sympathy, brother! Our forecast is for 41° tonight, so I'm not that warmer! And Monday should only get to 73°. Usually we're hitting the mid-80s by now. The only thing good about this is I haven't had to water the garden yet!

So long folks!

This has got to be the coldest spring I've ever experienced in the Okanagan! I know it's worse on the East Coast, though!

Chicago Metro area temperatures due to drop to 37 F tonight with warnings to gardeners about  covering  plants....

I had to look again at the calendar to confirm it is, indeed,  late May and not late March.Crying

OTOH...forecasts also predicting low 90's Monday......Confused

That's just a regional variation, like tom-A-to and tom-AH-to.

"Let's call the whole thing off!"

Is spring treating you any better on the other coast Bill?

If by that you mean there's new snow on the mountain passes and constant rain, than yeah, spring is treating us great!. Otherwise, not so much! This has got to be the coldest spring I've ever experienced in the Okanagan! I know it's worse on the East Coast, though!

So long folks!

"Ja, Gruber, I got a hand full off some dead Ivan."

BANG!

"Sniper! They got Hans!"

"Tell my wife...........I...love her......"Dead

This is, of course, when you roll up your newly finished Panther Ausf G and clear out the sniper nest....
